More than countries are options for students who want to study abroad Get more mileage out of your education. Study or intern off campus. Become immersed in another culture—and learn more about yourself. Internships build your résumé. Expand your professional network. Maybe even lead to your first job. Students intern in and around Orange City as well as across the U.S. through programs like these:

American Studies Program, Washington, D.C. Denver Urban Semester Chicago Semester Study abroad in the summer or for a whole semester in places like Belize, Costa Rica, Ecuador, the Czech Republic, England, Israel and Tanzania. Among students’ study abroad options are Northwestern’s two programs, which cost the same as a semester on campus, plus airfare:

OMAN SEMESTER Students travel to a Middle Eastern country on the coast of the Arabian Sea. They study Arabic and learn about interfaith dialogue with a goal of furthering understanding and peace.

ROMANIA SEMESTER A former communist country is a great place to study community and economic development. In addition to classes, students lead experiential education opportunities for Romanian youth.
