Scholarships PITTMAN GRANT
(75% of Tuition) The Pittman Grant is a financial award of 75 percent of tuition cost (including federal and state grants).
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR FIRST-TIME FRESHMEN
($5,000-$16,000) Freshmen scholarships are based on the student’s unweighted high school GPA. Students who have earned college credits in high school are still considered freshmen for scholarship purposes.
TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIP
($5,000-$16,000) Transfer students who have earned college credit from a different college or university after graduating from high school are eligible for the transfer scholarship. Amounts are based on the student’s unweighted collegiate GPA.
EAGLE SCHOLARS HONORS SCHOLARSHIP
($5,000) Northwestern’s honors program is for those students who desire instruction at the most rigorous levels. To apply, new admitted students must have a minimum ACT score of 28, SAT score of 1330, CLT score of 88, or 3.9 GPA with evidence of advanced study.
THEATRE ARTS SCHOLARSHIP
(Up to $4,000) Scholarships are awarded to incoming theatre majors and minors through an audition process each spring.
MOSAIC SCHOLARSHIP
(90% of Tuition) Northwestern’s Mosaic Scholarship is for MN residents who have a demonstrated interest in working towards Biblical righteousness and harmony among followers—especially in multicultural settings.
MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP
($1,000–$8,000) Music scholarships are available to music majors and minors as well as non-music majors; to both new and continuing students.
