SPIEL: Will Teather Artist Talk

Bob Dylan & The History of Rock‘n’Roll

Group exhibition by young people, identified by Creative Arts East.

The first of a new series of artist talks taking place at Norwich Arts Centre, SPIEL presents Norwich Arts Centre’s current Artist in Residence, Will Teather, talking about his new book. Followed by poetry in the bar.

An Evening With Writer Michael Gray. This is more 1-man-show than talk. Using great records and rare footage, Michael celebrates Dylan’s crucial role in modernising rock music when he went electric, and highlights some of Dylan’s more recent rocking moments.

Micachu & The Shapes

A powerful and subversive new solo performance. In the grand tradition of literary terrorism, Hannah has ripped up her copy of Fifty Shades of Grey and now, surrounded by the crumpled pages and with the help of radical punk-pirate Kathy Acker, she attempts to put the female body back together. In a performance as strange as it is beautiful, we discover there are no safe words.
