Alice Howland is stubborn, clever and driven – a professional at the top of her game. But, diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s at the age of 50, she is compelled to confront her new reality and draw on her resilience to remain independent for as long as possible. Alice strives to remain true to the woman she has always been, while relationships shift within her family, in her work and most importantly with herself.

Cassa Pancho’s Ballet Black celebrates dancers of black and Asian descent, showcasing technique, precision and grace in specially commissioned pieces.

Uncompromising yet tender, this new adaptation of the award-winning Friends & Corporate Club: novel truthfully acknowledges life with a progressive disease – its Half price first night conflicts and burden, and its small, priceless victories.

Completing the evening is Arthur Pita’s Olivier nominated A Dream Within A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The production mixes classical and contemporary to distil the essence of Shakespeare’s comedy, unfolding to the eclectic sounds of Eartha Kitt, Barbra Streisand, Yma Sumac and more.

Featuring British actress Sharon Small (The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, Over 60s Special Price: Bands A – C £6 OFF mats Mistresses, Trust Me) as Alice, this play is a unique insight into the experience of a woman fighting to maintain her identity as her world Under 18s Special Price: changes. As part of their latest double bill, renowned British choreographer Cathy Marston choreographs a new ballet based on Can Themba’s moving fable The Suit. This is the first dance adaptation of the affecting short story.

Age guidance: 12+ due to a scene in The Suit that is unsuitable for younger children and which some audience members may find upsetting, as it deals with suicide. The evening contains adult themes.

PAUL MERTON’S IMPRO CHUMS

There has never been a better time to be an American comedian in the UK. The Hoedown begins as a withering dissection of Trump’s America, but ends up being a celebration of Americana. There’s ‘blissfully funny’ (The Guardian) - stand-up, improvised ballads, cracking good musicianship, and ultimately a hilarious, footstomping, sh*t-kicking good time to be had by all. Even if you don’t own a hoe. Likely to be swearing and adult content. Age recommendation 14+
