Hart Award The Hart Award was established in honor of Loring E. Hart, PhD, former Professor of English and President of Norwich University. The award is given annually to the senior majoring in English who has contributed the most to the department, as measured by participation both in the classroom and in department activities.

Partridge Award for Excellence in English Awarded to the senior English major with the highest average in English courses taken at Norwich.
Recipient: Travis Needham (3.9 GPA in English coursework)
