Class Notes Graduate Greatness

Fr. Bill Waters, OSA ’57 is Pastor of St. Augustine Parish in Philadelphia. He reports that the parish, at 4th and Vine at the Ben Franklin Bridge, was founded in 1796. It is the first foundation of the Augustinian Community in this country. Villanova University has its origins at St. Augustine Parish.

Terrence Donnelly ’60 reports that he is happily retired after over 30 years with the Veterans Health Administration and also happily retired after 25 years with the 157th New Hampshire ANG Medical Squadron. He would be happy to hear from any classmates!

John Hilgner '81 reports that he is currently the executive chef at a five-star assisted living residence.

Dr. Kathleen Walls ’85 has published her third children’s book in her “Froggy-T and Bunnie A Hip Hop Tale” series!

Eric Griffin-Shelley ’97 was the keynote speaker for the Fall 2022 graduating class of the Founder Institute. Eric is the co-founder of Mobile Outfitters and stalwart supporter of the Philadelphia startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem. Eric has co-founded a number of companies, including: Mobile Outfitters, PAW5, and GSW Real Estate in Philadelphia. He’s a board member of the Philly chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization, a non-profit network exclusively for entrepreneurs, and serves as a council member for Back on My Feet.

Ysabel Ilagan-Ying ’06 graduated from Yale University and is currently in residency at Yale hospital specializing in G.I.

Kiko Ilagan (former student) has graduated from Stanford University and currently lives in the Bay Area in San Francisco. He is employed as an engineer at Google.

Maya Ilagan (former student) graduated from Georgetown University and is currently residing in New York where she is employed in the Manhattan Theater Company specializing in the production and developmental aspect of the performances.

’89 and Jeannine Giordano ’89 cheered on the Eagles.

Elizabeth Tucker ’06 received her PhD in Biology focusing on biomechanics from Temple University. Congratulations to Dr. Tucker!
