It is crazy to think about as I sit here one month later and so much has happened with everything and everyone. My thoughts have been with all of you since the lock down and I hope you and your families are all well. Stella’S darlingS...

Stella is our company dog - she is very social and makes friends easily. Lus from our headoffice found Katie Kimmel’s amazing dogs on-line. Katie Kimmel makes one-off vases of peoples dog’s - and we just fell in looovvee. We got in touch with Katie and we are so pleased with the result of our collaboration and hope to continue with more Stella friends in the future. For our first collaboration with American artist Katie Kimmel Stella has chosen herself and her close friends Otto and Scusi. 62

1. I am a true party dog - whenever my people have a party I always try to stay in the middle of the dance floor. And on a normal Tuesday when I am home alone I love when the sun hits one of our disco balls - and it looks like diamonds reflecting on the walls. 2. I grew up in a family who enjoys the beauty of the little things - I enjoy that my water and food bowls stands on this gorgeous enamel tray. 3. Who doesn’t love a good game of ball - this vase reminds me of fun times - playing in the fields - please check out my Stella and friends collection on the next page.

4. I’m in love with this new animal print - my dream is that they are kept full of food at all times. 5. When I come back from my walks I am often very dirty I like to rub the worst parts of mud off on something beautiful - before I jump into my own basket. These floor mats are perfect as they are easy to wash (so I am told)

6. I am a sucker for softness... can’t wait for these new blankets to come into my bed.

7. I don’t mean to flatter myself - BUT - I am somewhat of an expert when it comes to cushions - I know when to recognize a great cushion when I see one - and trust me these are COOOLL - soft and beautiful embroidered... and with tassels (I promise I won’t chew in them).

We have been proud product makers in Madagascar since our early start in 1998. The very first basket was made for our founders son Max when he was just 4 months old - this summer he turns 22. Our suppliers mostly employ women - we know that education and emancipation of women is the way to lift third world countries into the future. The women of Madagascar are strong beautiful and proud - and on top of that highly skilled. All our raffia houses, bags and baskets are handmade, and embroidered by hand. It is said that norwegian missionaries taught the women of Madagascar to embroider and crochet.
