Corrugated sheets are resonate with our daily culture, trying to subvert the stereotypes that people have with the corrugated metal sheet. Explore the industrialized building materials and blend in with our households. Using the design of the furnishings to highlight the aesthetic and value of the materials. Using the feelings of local in Taiwan to develop the new design style which is full of classic.

How did you come up with this product?
一開始 , 擁有很多類型提案 , 最後選擇以「臺灣」作為主軸 , 衍伸為「鐵窗 花」、「鳳梨彩球」、「鐵皮浪板」三項主題 , 進而選出「浪板」作為題材發展 , 因為鮮少有以此的主題 , 因而充滿挑戰 .
In the beginning, we have many types of ideas. However, we decide to choose "Taiwan" as our central idea and come up with three topics, including "Window Railing"," Plastic Pineapple Bouquet"and "corrugated sheet". We pick "corrugated sheet" as our final topic because this topic is rare to find in product design. On the other hand, it is full of challenges.

鐵皮 , 一體兩面的呈現出臺灣社會的多元價值觀 , 外國旅客眼中的新鮮特色 , 卻是國人眼中的景觀殺手 , 鄉村的鐵皮屋、城鎮的頂樓加蓋、騎樓的鐵捲門、 外推陽台的搭建 ,「鐵皮」都是你我熟悉的主角 , 導水的用途 , 影響了造型； 快速的滿足需求 , 導致大量的擴張 , 滲透日常 , 儼然已成為文化的一部分 .
Iron sheet, it shows multiple perspectives of Taiwanese society, a new feature to foreign travelers, but an unpleasant mark to local citizens. From metal houses in counties, rooftop add-on in cities, rolling steel doors on pedestrian arcades, to balcony constructions, “iron sheets” are familiar to us. Its drainage function made its appearances; meeting the demands this fast leads to huge expansion into our daily, being a part of culture.

Design Elements
Shape selection of Corrugated Sheets
在設計上取用鐵皮屋的三個元素為特點─鋼 骨結構、鐵皮浪板和鐵皮釘 . 鋼骨結構簡化 為方管用於大型家具；而花瓶則以圓管表現 小件作品的細緻 .
採用鐵皮文化中 , 最貼近大眾的圓浪板 . 相對於需要工程製 作的烤漆浪板 , 俗稱「鉛板」的小圓浪板作為主要發展形式 , 在坊間建材行或五金行即可輕鬆購得 , 被普遍應用在修補壁 面、屋頂局部缺漏或者搭建簡易農舍與房屋 . 適用於不同用 途 , 衍伸出繁多的種類 , 包含屋頂壁面角浪板、屋簷遮雨的 採光板 .
The 3 elements which based on metal sheet houses are steel structure, corrugated sheets and iron nails. Steel structure will be simplify as square tubes use in large-scale furniture; vases will be perform as circular pipes to show the refinement of small-scale works.
Use the most common “circular corrugated sheet” in the culture of metal sheets. With respect to the painted corrugated sheet that needed engineering production, using the so called “lead plate” which is the circular corrugated sheet as the main develop, it can be bought in any building materials store or hardware store, it is commonly be used in repairing the walls, parts of the roofs or building simple houses or barns. It can be used in different ways and derive to varieties of things, including the polycarbonate sheet used on the roof and lighting panels.

鐵皮在搭建時因為材料的關係 , 會出現一片疊一片的景象 . 在屏風上我們用兩種間距的浪板 , 並讓前後分隔一點距離 , 做出交疊的感 覺 . 前面的浪板也呈現出建材長度需求的特性 , 分成兩片疊起來 .
Because of the materials, when the corrugated sheets were built, the sheets will overlap with each other. On the screen we use two different spaces of corrugated sheets, to make their distance further and become overlapped. The sheets in the front also showed the characteristic of the material’s length, split into two.

Half Arched Roof
半圓拱屋頂→橢圓椅子 拱形屋頂也是常見於鐵皮建築工法的方式 , 可以將負載的重力導引轉換 , 承 受更大的受力 , 相較平頂式屋頂；鐵皮屋使用的弧形鋼構 , 反倒成為一種沉 穩且優美的力學表現 .
alf Arched Roof → Oval Chair Arched roof is also common in the buildings of corrugated sheets, compared to a flat top roof, it can transfer the loaded gravity and supported larger forces; the arc steel which is used in corrugated roof, it actually became a steadier and more beautiful mechanics.

Form follows the modeling
浪板用於建築通常是作為結構與疏水的功能 , 而我們則思考同樣的造型 , 當 他縮小不再是建材時 , 會變成什麼 . 我們發現鐵皮的凹槽平放時可用於置物 , 以此為基礎 , 加上大的弧度則發展成盤子；而彎成 U 字型時 , 底部的造型則 可以積水 , 便發展成花器 .
Corrugated sheets are mostly used as structural and draining of buildings. We are thinking what will happen if the same mold using are minified not as a material anymore. We found out that the notch of the metal sheet can be used for putting things, based on this, if we enlarge it can become a plate; when bending it into “U” shape, the mold beneath it can stand water then became a vase.

Materials
Any difficulties?
浪在材質的選擇上原本希望都可以用金屬來表現 , 用一般工 業製造的技術來做的話 , 大概只能用沖壓成形來製作 , 但由 於模具費太貴的關係 , 所以退而用塑膠的材質 , 運用真空成 形來製作 .
實際走訪烤漆浪板工廠 , 認識板材性質與成 形方式 . 與城垛狀的溝浪板相比 , 圓浪板相對 雅緻 , 在找尋適合加工的圓浪非常波折 , 最後 以手工板金做成鋁製椅面與塑膠 pc 浪板做 為大面積選用的方案 .
The choice of the materials was hoping to be showed as metal, but if using the normal engineering productions, it can only be made by stamping, due to the prices of the matrix is too expensive, so we use plastic material by suction to produce.
When we actual visited the corrugated sheets painting factory, we understood the nature of the sheets and the way it was made. Comparing to the castellated sheets, the circular sheet is more elegant, it's very hard going when searching for the best process for the circular sheets, so last, we used the handmade sheet metal for the aluminum made face plate of the chair and the plastic pc corrugated sheets.

The Great Wave off Kanagawa is a famous Ukiyo-e in Japan, so we make a stationery sets is composed of a paperweight,a tape dispenser,a pair of scissors,a staple,a stapler and a magnet. We transform the planar drawing into a solid,calling it "Gold Waves"(terrifying waves).

"Hakka Quartet Lion" significant representative of Hakka culture. The lion's mouth opening features combine Children's tableware. Hakka proverb speaks of "big chunks of the quartet" can bites of happiness. The children will be happy to share. So that they can enjoy this happy meal together.

Landscape Kettle 山水 壺 以情感設計為導向的電熱水壺 . 以 " 水源 " 和 " 喝水 " 兩件事作為中心 來設計 " 雨 " 是水的來源 , 那 " 山河 " 就是儲存與匯集水的地方 . 以山的外型作為主要的意象 , 但不直接以山作為外部造型 , 而是以透明壓 克力堆疊的方式在壺身內部形成山的造型 , 外部則以簡約的矩形及圓角 來襯托中間的山 .

妙妙圈 SLINKY 俗稱妙妙圈或機靈鬼的美國特色玩具 , 放在 樓梯上 , 它就會在重力和慣性的共同作用下 , 沿著階梯不斷伸展 , 是多數人童年的共同記 憶 , 我們採取他的特性 , 象徵靈感周而復始的 感覺 .
An American toy, commonly referred to slinky, when it’s placed on the ladder, it will be under the action of gravity and inertia then continue to stretch along the ladder. It is the childhood memories of all the people, and we take its characteristic to symbolize the cycle of inspiration.

採用金屬沖壓與馬口鐵的方式 , 設計出四款 徽章 , 圖示呈現主題精神 , 應用在販售與工作 證之識別上 .
Merge the idea of the “ Toy Blister Package ” to increase the interest of the work permit and to assist the badge as the main element.
Use the way of metal stamping and tin plate to design for types of badge, the image will appear the spirit of the topic, it can be apply during selling and identify the work permit.

kiwi kiwi 奇異果的營養價值極高 主要客群為上班族或家庭主婦 但對於上班族來說 , 食用上較相對蕉、蘋果等等來說較為不方便 本次設計主要客群為女性上班族 商標部分取名為 kiwi kiwi 帶有點可愛的感覺 , 並且能直聯想到奇異果 logo 部分採用奇異果本身的外型與果肉的結合 提高消費者辨識與聯想
