Happy Birthday! JAM4U!
As the youth gain experience and hone their skills, the records created from our jam sessions have been getting better and better. Our latest release “JAM4U” is a colorful, jazzy EP consisting of a couple records and audio recording from a session with renowned jazz musician Don Braden.
In April Notes for Notes celebrated several birthdays! Throughout the month there was a pizza party thrown for music students almost every friday, allowing the youth the feel recognized and show appreciation to one another.
Workshop
Many of our youth have a variety of talents. They do it all from singing and rapping to choreography, videography and computer graphics. The studio is a creative hub, allowing all forms of performing arts to excel. An emphasis on teamwork is the foundation from which we create. The culmination of different skills and experiences from the youth is responsible for the unique look and sound of Notes for Notes DC. Stay tuned for more.
