Take Note Vol IV A&R Report

Page 1

Notes for Notes® is pleased to present its fourth full-length collaborative album. Take Note IV features 18 original songs written and recorded by 23 youth nationwide. We took this opportunity to offer each participating youth the chance to experience what its like to create an authentic, professional album. Each Artist was invited to sign a recording “contract” in which they agreed to see their project through from start to finish by sharing their lyrics, recording and collaborating on the instrumentation of their song, meeting with their home Studio Producers, digitally collaborating with professional engineers within the organization and celebrating with a national listening party. In turn, each Artist was individually celebrated through additional music production sessions, special interviews, limited edition Notes for Notes merchandise and featured art on our very first vinyl pressing. We collectively learned so much by working together on such an intricate undertaking and are so excited to share what we learned along the way.

Redscaled’s commitment to his craft permeates! His courage and creativity flow through everything he records in the Mar Vista Studio. We’ve been lucky to share this journey with him. His connection with N4N Producer Josh Gray pushes both of them to explore new horizons in lyricism and production, while inspiring and motivating all of the youth inside their home club. Check out Redscaled’s premiere video and check out his behind the scenes interview below!
