A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT If you recall the early part of 2015, it started snowing on the Super Bowl and didn't stop for several (long) months, plunging our region into a deep freeze and bringing the real estate market to a screeching halt. That's the best summary I can think of to describe how last year started for all of us! Fortunately even though we had a slow start, we had a great finish with the Company transacting 10,090 sides and $1.55 billion in volume - a record year, the highest production ever in Nothnagle's 67 year history. The name of the game was getting the listings, which you did... and then cramming an entire year's worth of

business into eight months! The market alone was enough to make 2015 an exciting year for all of us. Then in May 2015, we announced that Nothnagle was joining forces with Howard Hanna, the 4th largest real estate company in the country. The match is a perfect fit for the changing business world our industry faces. The opportunities we now have are much greater than ever with a footprint that extends through the eight states of New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina. By joining forces with Howard Hanna, we are

now part of a network of thousands of agents across eight states and have the ability to leverage greater economies of scale. The result? COMPANY HIGHLIGHTS

2015 FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES Nothnagle REALTORS® held a fundraiser and networking event on Thursday, February 26 at its Corporate Headquarters located at 217 West Main Street. Over 50 agents and employees attended the function aimed at collecting prom dresses for the local organization, Fairy Godmothers of Greater Rochester (FGGR). Over 200 dresses will be donated to the local Fairy Godmother chapter, headed by Rene Spallina and Cynthia Jackson out of Pittsford NY. FGGR is part of a network of not-for-profit chapters which collect dresses for high school girls whose financial situation might otherwise prevent their ability to attend prom.

On August 10, Nothnagle REALTORS® held its 26th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Shadow Pines Golf Club in Penfield New York. Proceeds raised from that event have been donated to The Finger Lakes Donor Recovery Network. Finger Lakes Donor Recovery Network (FLDRN) is a not-for-profit, organ donor program that coordinates organ and tissue donations in New York State’s Finger Lakes, Central and Upstate regions. FLDRN works closely with the region’s hospitals to ensure that the organ donor decisions of area residents, in consultation with their families, are carried out at the time of death. The check, in the amount of $7,500, will go towards the 2016 Donate Life Transplant Games of America held in Cleveland, Ohio.

Nothnagle collected 1,413 pounds of nonperishable food items for Foodlink at their annual clam bake. The company event was held on Friday, October 16 at the Burgundy Basin Inn. In attendance were Nothnagle management, employees and agents from the 26 branch offices throughout the region. Guests were invited to bring non-perishable food items to the event. The response was overwhelming. Guests brought bags and in some instances, cases of food. From the 400 attendees, Nothnagle collected 1,413 pounds of goods for Foodlink. Foodlink is a regional food bank serving Allegany, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates Counties. Their operations target the root causes of hunger. In 2014, Foodlink distributed over 18 million pounds of food—including 3.6 million pounds of produce, offered more than 200 nutrition education courses, and created new access points for healthy foods in underserved communities.

The company-wide holiday party was held on Friday, December 18th at the Holiday Inn on State Street. Guests were asked to bring donations such as coats, boots, gloves, and hats. Over twenty large storage-sized bags containing various winter clothing items were collected and subsequently donated to the Rochester City School District.

Nothnagle also took part in the Hillside Special Santa program. Hillside Special Santa is a holiday giving program for The Hillside Family of Agencies. This program benefits youth and families throughout our region to make sure children will receive gifts on Christmas. Nine Nothnagle offices served as drop off locations for donations.

At a joint press conference on May 20, 2015, Armand D’Alfonso and Howard “Hoddy” Hanna announced that the companies have joined forces, bringing two familyowned companies with 125 years of combined experience together. 2015 NEW PROGRAMS

Income Advantage

JUNE 2015 Nothnagle launched the Income Advantage program. The Income Advantage program enhances agent earnings with a steady monthly income that allows sales associates focus on what they do best – listing and selling homes. This program is exclusive to the marketplaces Nothnagle operates in. Traditionally in real estate sales, an agent does not earn any income until a house closes and the commission is paid out. The Income Advantage program provides agents with peace of mind and the opportunity to

roll into each month with the knowledge that they will have a consistent income. Each month, enrolled agents will receive a check based on his/her previous year’s income in advance of actual future closings. The monthly advance payments are interest free and range from a payment of $800 to $3,000 each month. The Income Advantage program was the first of many new programs that Nothnagle Realtors rolled out to agents as a result of the alliance with Howard Hanna Real Estate Services.

In 2015, 25% of eligible agents enrolled and in 2016, 325 agents qualify for the Income Advantage program. A Howard Hanna Exclusive Program

AUGUST 2015 In August 2015, Nothnagle launched its “Homes of Distinction” program which provides a comprehensive, global strategy to market properties listed at $750,000 or more. The Homes of Distinction program provides services tailored to reach affluent audiences not only in our market areas, but also worldwide. Included in the program are benefits such as coordination of a customized marketing plan, direct mail and electronic outreach, opportunities for inclusion in local publications as well as regional and international outreach through the Wall Street Journal and Luxury Portfolio Magazine. The 100% Money Back Guarantee SEPTEMBER 2015 Nothnagle launched the 100% Money Back Guarantee, an exclusive program that stands behind the value of the homes the Company sells. If the buyer of a guaranteed home listed by a Nothnagle agent is not satisfied, the Company will buy back the home for 100% of its purchase price. Residential properties listed with a Nothnagle agent and priced between $75,000 - $600,000 are eligible for enrollment. There is no additional cost to the seller for

enrollment. Buyers must be working with a Nothnagle agent and the home they are purchasing must be enrolled in the program to be eligible for the program. Nothnagle made an investment of nearly $150,000 in TV, Print, Radio and Digital advertising across Western New York to promote the 100% Money Back Guarantee, making it the largest campaign in Nothnagle history. Radio campaigns aired in Buffalo and Rochester, which included sponsorships from local celebrities Bill Moran and Bob Lonsberry. October 7-8, nearly 200 Nothnagle agents and managers attended the 2015 Howard Hanna Agent Convention in Pittsburgh, PA. The two day convention was packed with free seminars from industry gurus like Matt Ferrara, Jared James, Ed Hatch, Burke Smith, David Knox, Terri Murphy, Mike Lipsey and Keynote by Bill Rancic from TV’s The Apprentice. The convention allowed for networking with 2,000 agents across eight states.

Advertising The new and improved Ad Manager system went live in December. The new system maintains all the functionality of the previous system, while taking on a whole new, fresh updated crisp, clean look. Some of the new and more user-friendly features include the agents’ ability to sort ad history quicker and easier, as well as accessibility to co-listed properties by both listers.

A major change is that the TV Show has gone paperless and is now in Ad Manager. Agents have the ability to see their schedule for the entire year, choose their own photos, and view what they have run in the past.

Our free XLR8 Training Program is an intensive training course packed with classes covering all of the basics agents need to know to jump start their business. The intimate, in-depth classes are taught by some of the finest instructors in the industry, actual “boots on the ground” agents and managers who love to share their knowledge and many years of experience in the real estate industry. Agents are taught in a comfortable and welcoming environment where they are encouraged to ask questions in order to gain the knowledge, confidence and understanding they need to be successful in today’s market. This training is exclusive to Nothnagle

agents and is open to not only new agents, but agents of all experience levels looking to boost their business. The XLR8 Training Program is offered at our training facility in Henrietta, NY. Instructors also provide coaching and classes year-round that is appropriate for everyone looking to stay current with the ever-changing tools and technologies of the business. Agents can learn the ins and outs of Nothnagle’s state-of-theart tools, like the exclusive Dashboard, which is an allencompassing application that allows agents to track and organize their leads, order marketing materials, place ads, upload photos, manage their transactions, view all their current listing information, create a business plan, and so much more! The goal of the Nothnagle Academy is to provide continued growth and development for all Nothnagle agents.

NOTHNAGLE’S MENTORS

MENTOR PROGRAM New real estate agents who attend the XLR8 program at the Nothnagle Academy, are able to enroll in Nothnagle’s Mentor Program. Mentors consist of experienced Nothnagle industry veterans, who are committed to coaching new agents in the ways of the business. Mentors must agree to work with new agents by attending regular face-to-face meetings, establish consistent communication via phone and email, meet weekly with them, help them achieve their goals and much more. Nothnagle mentors are there to help agents by sharing their personal experiences, and knowledge to help the new agents feel comfortable and confident in their real-life real estate

transactions. Mentors assist new agents in other areas such as prospecting, role playing, goal setting, business planning, time management and more. New agents enrolled in the program shadow their mentor and attend a variety of meetings of a real estate transaction such as an engineer’s inspection, a final walkthrough and the buyer’s application process in order to see first-hand how their experienced mentor handles the process. You can rest assured when hiring a newly licensed Nothnagle agent, that they have been thoroughly trained and coached by some of the best instructors and mentors in the industry.
