Program Overview
Notre Dame Law's Program on Intellectual Property and Technology Law had an exciting 2019-2020 academic year. In addition to hosting visiting scholars and practitioners as part of its IP Lecture Series and IP in Practice Series, the Program supported student initiatives including moot court competitions and other extra-curricular activities. The Program created partnerships with other departments and centers on campus and hosted roundtables for campus colleagues and other leading scholars in the IP and technology law fields. Our IP alumni have been increasingly active in the Program and its activities this year. Our Faculty have produced leading scholarship, have filed influential amicus briefs, have been quoted in the news, and have joined new research initiatives. Our Program has worked to broaden and deepen existing relationships with colleagues from other schools in the United States and abroad, and has developed new partnerships. The 2020-2021 academic year promises to be just as active, with cosponsored conferences, whether in a virtual or hybrid in-person and virtual format; lectures on campus and support of students in partnership with other departments and organizations at Notre Dame; and continued support from our IP alumni.
