Access &

Opportunity

Notre Dame's rich program offerings and smaller student body translate to program access for everyone. Our focus is on process, every day and for every student.

Campus Ministry

Through six co-curricular programs and more than 30 different clubs and organizations, students benefit from myriad opportunities on and off campus. Employing a unique approach to program leadership, Notre Dame co-curricular offerings are studentcentered and led by adults with area

expertise. Students are encouraged and empowered to create and build and, if they fail, try again. This unique approach cultivates resilience and builds hand-on skills. Our young women develop voice and experience in an empowering environment.

"Speech and debate is one of my favorite programs at Notre Dame. We are able to grow our voices as young women in the community and advocate for important issues with confidence. Through speech and debate we are also able to meet new people and utilize our voices in co-ed environments."

Student Leadership "Before I came to Notre Dame I wasn't much of a school leader, but at ND we have such a variety of leadership positions that I was able to find my place. At Notre Dame you can be a leader in different capacities from serving as a student body officer to leading a club or organization. When I first saw ASB cheerleader as an option, I wasn't sure I wanted to run for this position but my friends and mentor encouraged me. I ended up loving it and applying again the following year."

"Our visual and performing arts (VAPA) program engages all students to be creative and artistic. As a freshman, I took the Introduction to Photography class, and was surprised when one of my photographs was a finalist for a competition since I had never considered myself the artistic type. This experience greatly helped to improve my personal confidence early in my high school career."
