College & Career Preparation
A Notre Dame education empowers today's young women for college degrees and careers in emerging fields and encourages them to develop personal skills for a whole and healthy life. Notre Dame prepares students for college and beyond through a program of personal support and access to opportunities, both key to helping students discern their life path. In preparation for college admissions, students at all grade levels take standardized tests and more than 80% of our juniors and seniors choose to take Advanced Placement exams. Beyond traditional testing, we prepare students through assessments that demonstrate skill and applied learning. On average, 60% of seniors choose a college or university in California and 40% matriculate to a school in another state or country. Within our innovative learning environment, tech integration and design thinking prompt students to be solution-finders and active citizens. By leveraging the extensive life and career knowledge of our community partners, parents and alumnae, we help each student discern her life path and empower her to explore possibilities for the future.

"As a programmer, robotics has been an important part of my life at ND where I can practice my craft and have fun at the same time. I enjoy working with my teammates and encouraging each other to keep going when we have errors in our code. Not only do I have fun working with my peers to overcome challenges, I have also made friends from other grades. Surrounded by strong, positive and fun-loving women, I look forward to solving problems that I could not tackle alone, and discovering what each person can contribute at ND and beyond."

"My daughter learned a lot about the college application process and she now feels more confident. It is a great feeling knowing that she has all the guidance and support she needs along the way until she gets into the school she wants to attend. It was a very positive meeting with Mrs. Holohan. We came out feeling like someone was holding my child by hand, making sure she is successful in this college application process."
