Prayers of the Faithful Ojaswee Chaudhary ’21, Eylenne Diaz ’21, Tuanh Luong ’21, Lizbeth Ornelas ’21, Francesca Parroco ’21, Kimia Rategh ’21, Allyssa Rauscher ’21 The intercessions will be read in various languages. Translations are provided below. Please speak the response at the lector’s invitation. God of Love, we have known you in the faces of family, friends, teachers, and mentors who have encouraged us to be people of empowerment and impact. May we continue to recognize your presence in our lives in the people who inspire us in the next chapter of our lives. For this we pray, All: God of Goodness, hear us! God of Wisdom, as the prophets of old sometimes questioned your words, so too do we sometimes question the path you have set for us. May we trust in your guidance as we take our next steps with openness and courage. For this we pray, All: God of Goodness, hear us! God of Compassion, as we grow in our awareness of the issues facing the world around us, may we stand in solidarity with our sisters and brothers in the global community to celebrate the dignity of each person. For this we pray, All: God of Goodness, hear us! God of Knowledge, St. Julie Billiart urged her sisters to, “Teach them what they need to know for life.” May we take what we have learned in our four years here and use it to improve life for all people. For this we pray, All: God of Goodness, hear us! God of Justice, we have learned the importance of standing alongside those who are struggling. Help us to encourage others with the power of our voices and to bring your light and love to the world. For this we pray, All: God of Goodness, hear us! God our Guide, fill our hearts with peace and calm as we venture toward new places, for we know that you will always be with us. May we cherish the times that we have had together, and look toward a future filled with exciting possibilities. For this we pray, All: God of Goodness, hear us! God of Healing, soothe with your presence all those who are sick. And for those who have died, may they enjoy their eternal rest with God. In a special way, we remember beloved family and friends who have passed on and are here with us in spirit. For this we pray, All: God of Goodness, hear us!

Blessing over the Class of 2021 Mary Beth Riley, Principal Angela Ortiz-Barela ’21 & Deacon Greg Ortiz Leader:
May your souls magnify the good God and your spirits rejoice together in God your savior, who has looked upon you, led you gently by the hand. You, servants and friends, sisters and companions, marked by the cross, marked by courage.
Family, Faculty & Staff: All generations will call you blessed: for the God of compassion has done great things for you in God’s name. This is the power you proclaim with your lives, this is the tenderness that sets you singing, this is the goodness that burns in our hearts: Graduates:
that God lifts up the lowly, that God shelters the poor and the desolate, that God feeds the hungry and nurtures the lost, while those who rely on pride and might, righteousness and security are scattered,
Family, Faculty & Staff: for God remembers those who serve, God is close to those who wait, God is faithful to those who trust. Graduates:
And we, one in mind, one in heart, we friends, we sisters, we remember God’s promises, promises made to all people, and we hold tight to the love that fulfills them all, who is faithful forever.
All:
In joy and confidence, we together magnify the good God. Amen.
