Vision for Leadership Dear Notre Dame community, We are excited to share with you an overview of Vision 2025, Notre Dame San Jose’s strategic plan for building our future. The vision identifies three areas of growth and opportunity that advance our mission to educate young women for leadership. This vision expands our impact for leadership into the community and invites community members to join us in our work. Our initiatives are bold. We will move beyond our campus and student community and invite others to engage in recognizing the value of women’s leadership. We will expand the impact of women’s spiritual leadership through interfaith partnerships and our Notre Dame network in the world. We will grow the opportunities for our professional learning community to be leaders and develop student leaders. The focus for this aspirational vision grew from the board of directors’ Future Sustainability Study in 2017-2018, the sunsetting of the 2015-2020 Strategic Plan and the opening of the Center for Women’s Leadership classroom building in 2020. As we have done for the past 170 years, we iterate women's education to respond to the times. Now, more than ever, our Notre Dame Catholic worldview calls us forward to embody goodness, equity and inclusion in new and dynamic ways. This plan prioritizes that commitment within each of the initiatives to position Notre Dame at the center of a movement for relevant and impactful women's leadership. We look forward to sharing our progress on this important work for women’s leadership in the 21st century with you! In Notre Dame,
Mary Beth Riley Mark Fernandes Head of School Chair, Board of Directors

Mission
Statement
Notre Dame High School, in the heart of downtown San Jose since 1851, provides young women an exemplary Catholic, college-preparatory education to become life-long learners, spiritual seekers, justice advocates and community leaders. We are inspired by Saint Julie Billiart and the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. We empower young women and
