What Have I done?

So what should you do next? •

Head to the Students’ Union website first, this has pretty much all the information you need to know about how to get involved and start building up your skills: www. su.nottingham.ac.uk

Drop into the Student Volunteer Centre or Student Activities on B Floor of the Portland Building for some face to face advice.

Keep your eye on the vacancies section of the Students’ Union website for jobs within the Union: http://www.su.nottingham.ac.uk/jobs/

Join a club or society, there are 80 clubs and 200 societies, so there’s bound to be something you can get involved in.

Visit the Centre for Career Development website http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/ careers/index.aspx or drop into their offices on the top floor of the Portland Building for advice on making effective applications, and to learn more about work experience and the Nottingham Advantage Award (NAA).

Think about running for a Students’ Union Exec position in your final year.
