and private sectors, and developing education and technology services in the Kingdom to raise the level of this sector to keep pace with future growth at the local and international levels; And I honestly couldnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t ask for a better internship.

SBTS This Project was a team project, me and my colleague Lamyaa worked on it, we had to make a motion graphic explaining a new service which is an app where parents can track school buses to make sure

their child is safe, our job was only animating as they had another team to do the voiceover and sound effects, which still was not ready yet.

Recycling Paper Personally I try my best to be eco-friendly and not have much waste, and a huge company like TETCO naturally they have a huge paper waste, so I suggested a recycling paper campaign idea to the PR department and they liked the idea and told me to go ahead to design whatever is needed; and to contact a center or whoever would beneﬁt

from all the paper waste, and they were ready do provide the garbage bins for each ﬂoor, as well as printing the stickers on them, so I did; and they told me that it’s not going to be a one time thing and that they’re going to contact the recycling center regularly and I was very happy to leave such an impact.

Report My internship was at TETCO Tatweer Educational Technologies, I started in 9th of June 2019, until 19th of July 2019; TETCO Tatweer Educational Technologies is one of the educational development companies owned by the Public Investment Fund; It aims to support the Ministry of Education in carrying out the ministry's IT functions, providing high quality solutions and services to both the public and private sectors, and developing education and technology services in the Kingdom to raise the level of this sector to keep pace with future growth at the local and international levels. To Contact TETCO: Tell: 920033988, P.O box: 21227, Zip Code: 11475, My supervisor E-mail: shuzami@tetco.sa Although TECTO is a tech company I got to work on many different kind of projects; there were a lot of UI design; but I also did branding, motion graphic publications, etc; TETCO provides for its female employees a separated office ares, and lots of other services as well; as intern I got to benefit from all these services as well; all the team members of the department I was working for were very kind and friendly; my experience overall is very positive. TETCO is a huge company with many department, I was mainly under the Data analysis department, but I also have worked on a few projects with other departments as well, the Data analysis department team all were very welcoming and nice, and were always there whenever the interns needed something starting with my supervisor, and all the team members, although the men and women offices are separated at TETCO, whenever I contact my supervisor Mr. Saad, for a meeting or anything he would always there and ready to help, So I spend most of the day with the female team members; I take tasks directly from my supervisor, but I also worked on other tasks but they had to be approved by him as well.

From the first week, I got my own office, official TETCO email, laptop, access card, accounts for ShutterStock and CreativeCloud; and it shows how seriously they took us. The female offices space has 2 kitchen areas, 3 toilets and 2 tea girls; and every morning the company driver deliver fresh breakfast for all employees; it also has praying room, waiting area and lots of sunlight and plants. I was so fortunate to do my internship at TETCO, although it’s a tech company, I got to work on verity of projects; I did branding, UI design, campaign design, motion graphic and also publications; as well as learning a whole new software; as a graphic designer at TETCO I felt very appreciated and needed, and all my work was used and wasn’t just put aside; I spend almost 2 months at TETCO and I honestly can’t think of a single bad experience. My first project was in infographic and it was about my department’s achievements, it was sent to all the company employees; and another department approached and wanted something similar but they were late and my supervisor told them that I was busy with something else. The second project was a 40 pages booklet about my department’s achievements it took a long time due to its many typos, removing and adding and editing the content, also it had to be approved by many people; but I enjoyed working on it especially that I got to do a little photoshoot at the office for the booklet cover. The third project I wasn’t very included in it, as it was mainly Lamya’s project because I was busy with the booklet; it was a guide line for the dashboards for my department; we did backgrounds, colors, fonts etc. I was only responsible for the icons, I didn’t make them from scratch (that’s why I didn’t put them in the portfolio) but I gathered many icons and then modified them to look like a certain style we had in mind, we unified the thickness and all.

The fourth project was the motion graphic, it was a team project, Lamya and I worked on it; it was about a new service that TETCO was working on, that allows parents to track their child’s school bus with live timing and updates etc, Lamya and I were only responsible for animating, they had another team doing the voice over; I was very fortunate to have Lamya as my teammate as she had so many tips and ticks in AfterEffects that I learned from her. After the motion graphic project, I worked on a dashboard for Qarar Platform layout and interface, and then my supervisor wanted me to design a PowerPoint file it was very argent and it was going to be presented to the education minister; a few days later they kept the design to be the official PowerPoint template for TETCO. Then I asked my supervisor if there’s any branding projects that I could work on, he gave me a brief about a new project they want to launch, I had to come up with the name and then the whole branding and I was very excited for this project, we ended up with the name Bayan as it suited the project best; then after the logo was approved I started to design the user interface for the website and my supervisor was very happy with it. At TETCO I learned how to write a proper formal E-mails, how to act on meetings, and how to mange my time; unlike collage somehow I always mange to ﬁnish all the work in the ofﬁce and this is was the best part; as mentioned before I got to work on variety of projects and not like most companies where interns were only allowed to do social media posts for example, so again I was very lucky; also the work environment was exclusively female so I didn’t had to spend all the day in my Abaya; overall my experience was very positive and I can’t think of any disadvantage to be quite honest.
