Hues so vibrant you can almost taste them. Feelings in texture, depth and weight. Looks spanning checks, shapes and florals. 2023 is seeing a resurgence in colour and variety in carpet and vinyl. Gerrand Floorings invite you to express your individuality and inject personality underfoot.

So what’s on the menu at Gerrand?

TWENTY-NINE COLOURS AND COUNTING …

If aubergine and chilli, oranges and greens make you think of food, think again. These are just some of the 29 crafted colour options off the rack in the refreshed Sallee ‘Escape’ collection. The range is a delicious cut-pile available in a hardtwist or plush velour finish in three weights, including an upweighted premium offering.

If the colours off the rack don’t tick the box for you or maybe you want to match or contrast with another interior feature (or even to match your nail polish!) you can also have your Sallee Escape carpet custom and bespoke coloured. This option has a slightly higher price point but no one will have what you have and the impact is breath-taking, plus the enduring value you get in high quality carpet with longevity.

Nurtured By Nature

Referencing nature in your home will always stay in fashion. Never has there been such a choice in naturals that feel as soothing as they look. And what is warmer and more natural than wool? The Bremworth Collection Galet creates textured softness in chunky loop pile 100% New Zealand wool finished with a premium felted yarn process. Popular colours sienna, sage and indigo began life as a limited edition but are now design favourites.

Bremworth have also just updated colours in another popular pure wool carpet that may just tempt you to sleep on the floor, such is its sensuousness of crushed velvet. The Charmeuse range has expanded to include the natural hues of clay and woodland.

FLOORS YOU COULD FRAME!

The Feltex Artisan range comes in such wonderful patterns and colours that your flooring can feel like a work of art. From paisley designs to the subtle checks and criss-cross style in neutrals and black and white, this range can make your carpet a talking point without taking over the conversation completely. If you have a space just calling for a bit of a statement, let Feltex bring out the artist in you.

Vinyl With Vim And Verve

The only thing that good old lino has in common with the new generation of designer vinyl options is the retro look, which has seen the return of confident patterns. Amongst the exciting new era of patterns are innovative ways to customise your floors using vinyl. Moduleo Moods creative vinyl floorings not only have 12 floor patterns but also a range of geometric shapes in complementary colours that can be installed in their own bespoke way. Hard working and wet areas, like kitchens and bathrooms, love vinyl and are often perfect for being bold and making a statement.

YOUR RUG, YOUR WAY

If you don’t want to go full floor with a dramatic statement, floor rugs make a great focal point and ideal for zoning a large room. Most carpets can be made into rugs and can be shaped and sized to suit your needs. There’s a wide choice of edgings to reflect your décor.

Leanne at Gerrand Floorings says she’s thrilled with the new ranges and is delighted that flooring need never be boring. She loves guiding clients through the many choices in the Bay of Plenty’s largest flooring showroom.
