TyÜ|vt Decorative top-coat finishing for interiors, with metallic patterns GENERAL FEATURES Africa is a finishing top-coat for interiors, with soft metallic pigments. The patterns create a unique game of lights and shades. USES Africa permits to achieve velvety chromatic effects and visual and tactile sensations, perfectly aligned with the cutting-edge trends in the decoration of modern interiors. IDENTIFICATION FEATURES Binding agent: water-based acrylic polymer. Density: Africa A 301-A 313: 1,11 +/- 0,5 g/ml Africa A 314: 1,11 +/- 0,5 g/ml PERFORMANCES The application of Africa is simple and practical and both a professional decorator and a private unprofessional customer can reach highly prestigious results. Africa allows customized final effects thanks to its high versatility and its application by different tools. DILUTION Novaprimer: 50-80% with water Africa: ready for use, diluted with 20% of water if applied with roller. Clear Coat: if applied in two coats, the first one has to be diluted with maximum 20% of water and the second one with maximum 5% of water. If applied in one coat, ready for use or diluted with maximum 5% of water. WARNING Mix the product properly before the colouration and application. Do not apply on fresh surfaces, wait a maturation time of at least 4 weeks. On highly stressed surfaces, it is recommended the application of one or

two coats of Clear Coat (protective clear coat for interiors) SUBASTRATE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION The substrate must be perfectly dry, dust-free, with no humidity and salt stains. In case of non-homogeneous surfaces and/or surfaces with different absorption rate, apply a coat of Novaprimer (see Dilution) with roller of brush. After at least 8 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply one coat of Africa. If applied with a stainless steel trowel, no dilution is recommended. If applied with a short-hair roller, Africa can be diluted with 20% of water maximum. After at least 8 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply a second coat of Africa with a stainless steel trowel or with a short-hair roller using a bit more material. Before it dries out, work into the surface with a stainless steel trowel with circular movements keep working the product till reaching the desired effect. Drying time: in stable environmental conditions (T=25°C, UR=60%), 24 hour approx. depending on the kind of support and its absorption rate. In case of application on highly stressed surfaces, it is advisable the application, with a thin roller, of one or more coats of Clear Coat(see Technical Data Sheet). WARNINGS During the entire application process, the product must protected from cold and high heat changes. Do not apply with air, substrate and product temperature lower than +5°C and higher than +35°C, nor under direct sun light, nor on superheated surfaces (even if already in shadow). It is advisable to complete each work with materials from the same batch of production.

YIELD Novaprimer: 8-10 m2/l, depending on the kind of substrate and its absorption rate Africa: 8-10 m2/l, in two coats, depending on the substrate texture and its absorption rate. Clear Coat: 5-10m2/l, for each coat, depending on the decorative final effect to be achieved COLOURS As per Africa color-card. PACKAGES 1l., 2,5l. packages. SHELF LIFE The packaged product is guaranteed for 24 months, if stored in the original sealed packages and at temperatures between +5° C and +35° C. The product does not require the label as per the D.L. 65 dated 14/03/03 and following corrections. Use the products as per the security and hygiene procedures rules. Dispose of the empty packaging remaining material in compliance with local laws. Keep the product away from children usage and in an airy place. In case of contact with eyes, wash them immediately with water. In case of ingestion of the products, consult immediately a doctor showing him the can or the label of the product. Do not
