Fase Silossanica Siloxane vehicle for exterior and interior patina GENERAL FEATURES Fase Silossanica is a transparent vehicle made of acrylic and styrene copolymers, siloxane resins and special additives. The particular formulation of Fase Silossanica allows the application on multiple supports, such as synthetic, mineral and siloxane surfaces for interior and exterior velaturas. It allows to achieve vibrant transparent chromatic effects, with the possibility to obtain different nuances and shades depending on the colours and on the application technique. USES Decoration of classical and modern interiors. Special finishing coat for exterior facades in historical town and country areas, in respect of the historical heritage. Finishing coat for synthetic facades, where highly prestigious aesthetic effects are required. IDENTIFICATION FEATURES Binding agent: dispersion of acrylic and styrene copolymer and emulsion of siloxane resin. Density: Transparent Fase Silossanica: 1,01 +/0,5 g/ml DILUITION Acrilak: 1:4-1:5 with water Novaprimer white: 50-80% with water Novalux E white: Maximum dilution rate 30% with water. Fase Silossanica: Maximum dilution rate 100% of water. WARNING Mix properly the product before the tinting and application cycle. Do not apply on fresh/new substrates; wait a maturation period of 4 weeks normally.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION (T=25°C, UR=60%) The substrate must be perfectly dry, dust-free, with no humidity and salt stains. In case of smooth surfaces, apply one coat of Novaprimer (see Dilution) with brush or short-air roller. In case of no smooth surfaces, apply one coat of Acrilak (see Dilution), with brush or short-hair roller. After at least 4 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply a coat of Novalux E white (see Dilution) with brush, shorthair roller or with a spray-gun. Remove any imperfection or accumulation of material. After at least 8 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply a second coat of Novalux E (see Dilution) with a paintbrush, a short-hair roller or a spray gun. After at least 8 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply one layer of Fase Silossanica (see dilution), with a paintbrush, a sponge or with a glove, modelling the surface depending on the desired effect. After at least 8 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%) apply a second layer of Fase Silossanica, with a paintbrush, a sponge or with a glove, modelling the surface depending on the desired effect. Drying time: 24 hours approx. depending on the kind of support and its absorption rate, considering standard environmental conditions (T=25°C, UR=60%). It is possible to apply Fase Silossanica on mineral surfaces such as plasters, stuccos, paintings, after the complete drying of the surface. Concerning the application cycle, follow carefully the instruction previously described, paying attention on the different absorption and roughness rates of the surface, that might change the final effect.
RECCOMENDATIONS The product must be protected from cold and high heat changes, during the entire application process. Do not apply with air, substrate and product temperature lower than +10°C and higher than +35°C, nor under direct sun light, nor on superheated surfaces (even if already in shadow). It is advisable to complete each work with materials from the same batch of production. Use pigments resistant in outdoors for the application of Fase Silossanica in exteriors. It is advisable to run application tests to evaluate the desired effect, nuance and transparency degree before the application on site. TOOLS CLEANING With water, immediately after use. YIELD Acrilak: 20-30 m2/l, depending on the type of substrate and its absorption rate. Novaprimer: 8-10 m2/l, depending on the type of substrate and its absorption rate. Novalux E white: 6-7 m2/l, depending on the type of substrate and its absorption rate. Fase Silossanica: 12-15 m2/l, depending on the type of substrate, its absorption rate and the effect to be reached. COLOURS As per “Antiche Patine” color card PACKAGES 1 l and 2,5 lt buckets. SHELF LIFE The packaged product is guaranteed for 24 months, if stored in the original sealed package and at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.

The product does not require the label as per the D.L. 65 dated 14/03/03 and following corrections. Use the products as per the security and hygiene procedures rules. Dispose of the empty packaging remaining material in compliance with local laws. Keep the product away from children usage and in an airy place. In case of contact with eyes, wash them immediately with water. In case of ingestion of the products, consult immediately a doctor showing him the can or the label of the product.
