Intosil Medio Anti-mould acrylic-siloxane coating for exteriors, medium GENERAL FEATURES Intosil is an anti-mould acrylic-siloxane coating for exteriors, medium grain (0,51,0 mm), water-based and formulated with styrene-acrylic copolymers, siloxane resins, selected marble tiles, quartz aggregates and anti-mould agents. USES Intosil is highly permeable and waterrepellent, therefore perfectly compatible with all existing mineral an synthetic substrates. Thanks to the high erosion resistance and water-vapor permeability, Intosil is highly recommended for: Finishing coat for facades with no moulding protection and with high exposure to atmospheric agents. SUBASTRATE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION The substrate must be perfectly smooth, dry, dust-free, with no humidity and salt stains. Apply one coat of Isosilcolor (pigmented sealer) diluted with 20-40% of water. After at least 4 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%) apply one coat of Intosil with stainless steel trowel. Smooth eventual imperfections or exceeding amounts of product. After at least 12 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%) apply a second coat of Intosil with stainless steel trowel. Paint over the surface with stainless steel trowel to obtain a uniform effect or with sponge trowel to obtain a rough effect Drying time: about 72 hours depending on the kind of substrate and its absorption rate, in stable atmospheric conditions (T=25°C, UR=60 %). It is possible to realize colorful velaturas resembling the traditional colorings in historical town settings, applying on the surface completely dry one or more coats of Fase Silossanica, properly diluted (see Dilution), with sponge or glove depending on the desired effect. Drying time: about 24 hours depending on the kind of substrate and its absorption rate in stable atmospheric conditions (T=25°C, UR=60%). RECOMMENDATIONS The material must be applied protected from cold and high heat changes during the entire application. Do not apply with air, support and products temperature lower than +5°C or higher than +35°C, nor under direct sun light, nor under superheated surfaces (even if already in shadow).
For the application of colorful Intosil on insulation systems, remember to check the feasibility of the tint. It is advisable to complete each work with materials from the same batch of production. TOOLS CLEANING With water, immediately after their use. YIELD Isosilcolor: 8-10 m2/l, depending on the kind of support and its absorption rate. Intosil: 2,2-2,5 kg/m2, for the two coats, depending on the kind of substrate Fase Silossanica: 12-15 m2/l, for each coat, depending on the kind of support, its absorption rate and the effect achieved. The product does not require the label as per the D.L. 65 dated 14/03/03 and following corrections. Use the products as per the security and hygiene procedures rules. Dispose of the empty packaging remaining material in compliance with local laws. Keep the product away from children usage and in an airy place. In case of contact with eyes, wash them immediately with water. In case of ingestion of the products, consult immediately a doctor showing him the can or the label of the product. Do not
