Stucco Argento Decorative lime-based “stucco” for interiors with special silver pigments. GENERAL FEATURES Stucco Argento is a lime-based glossy “stucco” finishing coat with wellseasoned lime putty, metallic pigments and rheology modifiers for optimum workability. USES Decorative finishing coat for luxury interiors. Stucco Argento is the ideal decorative coat to be used over mineral surfaces as Marmorino KS since the product reacts chemically with them, building up a unique “body” able to preserve this lime coating for a longer period of time. IDENTIFICATION FEATURES Binding agent: lime putty, water-based dispersion of a copolymer of versatate acid with vinyl acetate. Density: Stucco Argento: 1,11 +/- 0,5 g/ml PERFOMANCES Thanks to its special formulation, Stucco Argento preserves the permeability of the surface. DILUTION Acrilak: 1:4-1:5 with water Novaprimer: 50-80% with water. Marmorino KS: ready-to-use product. Stucco Argento: ready-to-use product. WARNING Properly mix the products before the colouration and application. SUBSTRATE PREPARATION ( T=25° C,UR=60%) The surface must be perfectly dry, dustfree, with no humidity and salt stains. In case of smooth surfaces it is recommended to apply one layer of Novaprimer Bianco diluted (see dilution) with brush or short-air roller. In case of no smooth surfaces it is recommended to apply one layer of

Acrilak diluted (see dilution) with brush or short-air roller. After at least 4 hours (T=25° C,UR=60%), apply one coat of Marmorino KS with a stainless-steel trowel smooting the surface properly when still humid. Remove any imperfections or accumulation of material. After at least 12 hours (T=25° C,UR=60%), apply a second layer of Marmorino KS with a stainless-steel trowel. Before it dries out, work the surface with a stainless steel trowel for stuccos in order to get a polished and glossy final effect. If required, we recommend to keep the surface wet during the application cycle. After at least 24 hours (T=25° C,UR=60%), apply one coat of Stucco Argento, with a stainless-steel trowel, taking care to apply the product in small portions of the surface. After at least 4 hours (T=25° C,UR=60%), apply a second layer of Stucco Argento with a stainless-steel trowel using the same technique as above. Before it dries, smooth the surface with a steel trowel.
Novaprimer: 8-10 m /l, depending on the kind of substrate and its absorption rate. 2 Marmorino KS: 0,8-1 Kg/m . 2 Stucco Argento: 4-6 m /Kg, depending on the final polished and glossy effect to be reached.
RECCOMENDATIONS The product must be protected from cold and high heat changes, during the entire application process. Do not apply with air, substrate and product temperature lower than +10°C and higher than +35°C, nor under direct sun light, nor on superheated surfaces (even if already in shadow). It is advisable to complete each work with materials from the same batch of production.
The product does not require the label as per the D.L. 65 dated 14/03/03 and following corrections. Use the products as per the security and hygiene procedures rules. Dispose of the empty packaging remaining material in compliance with local laws. Keep the product away from children usage and in an airy place. In case of contact with eyes, wash them immediately with water. In case of ingestion of the products, consult immediately a doctor showing him the can or the label of the product. Do not leave wastes in drains, water courses and on the ground. For further information consult the safety data sheet.
TOOLS CLEANING With water, immediately after their use. YIELD 2 Acrilak: 20-30 m /l, depending on the kind of substrate and its absorption rate.
COLORS Silver base “Stucco argento” color card. PACKAGES 1 Kg; 5 Kg packages. SHELF LIFE The packaged product is guaranteed for 24 months, if stored in the original sealed package and at temperatures between +5° C and +35° C. Considering Stucco Argento a limebased product, an increase in viscosity may happen during storage.
