SUBASTRATE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION (Environmental conditions T=25° C,UR=60%) The substrate must be perfectly smooth, dry, dust-free, with no humidity and salt stains. In case of non-homogeneous surfaces with different absorption rate, apply with a brush or with a roller, a coat of Novaprimer (water-based acrylic pigmented sealer) diluted with 50-80% of water. After at least 8 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply one coat of Novalux E White (washable paint for interiors and exteriors) with a brush or with a short hair roller (see ‘Dilution’). After at least 8 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply a second coat of Novalux E White with a short hair roller or with a brush (see ‘Dilution’). After at least 24 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply one coat of Swahili, ready for use or diluted with 20% of water, with “Brush for Swahili”. After at least 8 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply a second coat of Swahili, ready for use or diluted with 5% of water, with “Brush for Swahili”. Drying time: approximately 24 hours depending on the kind of substrate and its absorption rate, in stable atmospheric conditions (T=25°C, UR=60%).
IDENTIFICATION FEATURES Binder nature: water-based acrylic polymer Density: Swahili Base Silver: 1,25 +/- 0,05 g/ml Swahili Base Gold: 1,25 +/- 0,05 g/ml PERFORMANCES The application of Swahili is simple and practical thanks to its application with a brush. DILUTION Novaprimer: 50-80% with water. Novalux E: with maximum 30% of water. Swahili: ready for use Clear Coat: if applied in two coats, dilute the first coat with maximum 20% of water and the second coat with maximum 5% of water. If applied in one coat, ready for use or diluted with maximum 5% of water.
“Antique Wall” effect The substrate must be perfectly smooth, dry, dust-free, with no humidity and salt stains. In case of non-homogeneous surfaces with different absorption rate, apply with a brush or with a roller, a coat of
Novaprimer (water-based acrylic pigmented sealer) diluted with 50-80% of water. After at least 8 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply one coat of Novalux E Bianco-Base Pastel (washable paint for interiors and exteriors) with a short hair roller or with a brush. After at least 12 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply a second coat of Novalux E Bianco-Base Pastel, diluted, with a short hair roller or with a brush. After at least 24 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply on coat of Swahili tinted, non-diluted, with “Brush for Swahili”. After at least 8 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply a second coat of Swahili Base Silver, diluted with 1520% of water, with a sea sponge. Drying time: approximately 24 hours depending on the kind of substrate and its absorption rate, in stable atmospheric conditions (T=25°C, UR=60%). “Metallic Plaster” effect The substrate must be perfectly smooth, dry, dust-free, with no humidity and salt stains. In case of non-homogeneous surfaces with different absorption rate, apply with a brush or with a roller, a coat of Novaprimer (water-based acrylic pigmented sealer) diluted. After at least 8 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply one coat of Swahili, tinted, non-diluted, with plastic trowel. After at least 8 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply a second coat of Swahili Base Silver, non-diluted, with plastic trowel until achieving a compact surface. Drying time: approximately 24 hours depending on the kind of substrate and its absorption rate, in stable atmospheric conditions (T=25°C, UR=60%). “Shantung” effect
