From wedding dresses to diapers these 2 past Montadales queens have got their hands full. Kasey Gatson Ellis tied the knot with her forever Jacob this past July and Chelsea Coers Irwin is now a mother to twins Logan and Cecilia.

We want to thank each and every one of you who participated in the reduction sale of Dad’s flock on October 10th.

Those who added Poppen Montadales to your portfolios, we wish you all the best with your production. As many of you know, raising montadales brought Dad a great amount of joy.

What furthered that joy were the relationships cultivated over years of attending shows and fairs with those equally passionate about shepherding. Two of those individuals who meant so much to Dad need to be recognized for their immense help during this difficult year and the many hours they spent preparing for the sale.

Dylan Nohner and Devon Wolkow were instrumental in keeping things going and helping us through all the while Dad was hospitalized, and now helping us navigate the future of the flock now that Dad has passed.

I am so grateful to know that I will have such kind and experienced friends to advise me as I seek to keep the genetics of the Poppen Montadales going strong.
