I am a 22-year-old Visual Communication Design fresh-graduate at Institut Teknologi Bandung. Growing up in Bali and currently living in Bandung. I am fond of basically everything art and design related, especially paper, wood, and craft. I have been studying design for 4 years, focusing on Creative Advertising. Among other countries in the world, Indonesia is one of those with the richest species of orchids. Orchids found in Indonesia comprising approximately 7000 species, including endemic orchids of Indonesia. Unfortunately, considerable amount of orchids in Indonesia are endangered. This unfortunate event is the result of climate exchange, forest fires, and irresponsible exploitation. This works is exclusively designed forming the letter O, R, C, H, I and D. Each of every single pot carrying Indonesian indigenous orchids. These orchids are rare and protected orchids in Indonesia. To inform about these species, an explanation is featured in every front side of each pots. On the other hand, the woodpots using scrap wood from wooden container.

Puspa Pesona School Project Integrated Campaign

As a country that has the largest orchid biological diversity in the world, Not Surprisingly if orchid has an important position as a symbol of the country. Through Presidential Decree No. 4/1993, Moon Orchid (Phalaenopsis amabilis) was chosen as the national flower. Unfortunately, today’s people do not know that moon orchid has another name known puspa pesona. Therefore, in 2016 Perhimpunan Anggrek Indonesia (PAI) took the initiative to reactivate gardening orchids throughout Indonesia. With the aim to popularize moon orchids as a flower of charm. By creating campaigns "Puspa Pesona Nusantara" expected by society moved know the orchids and orchids not only as an exclusively ornamental plant t but also provides an emotional touch in their daily lives. This school project aims to design a communication strategy appropriate to re-popularize orchids as puspa pesona, with a social campaign entitled Puspa Pesona Nusantara. Focused on the visual application of the strategy that has been designed in such a way. Through the theories that have been elaborated by the topic.
