“Kyle and I met at a nightclub in Boston on St. Patty’s Day 2013 where I was celebrating my birthday with some friends. As soon as I saw him, I knew he was the, one so at the end of the night I approached him and we exchanged numbers. Who said you can’t find love in the club? We talked every day since and moving back up to Boston six years ago was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. After many concerts, adventures, kitchen dance parties, foster dogs, and me getting a bonus son, Xavier, who I absolutely adore, Kyle proposed New Year’s Eve 2019 when I least expected it. We chose New Orleans for our destination wedding because on our very first trip there we loved the energy, the people, and the culture, and we want to share that with all of our family and friends.”

“We met in college at Grambling State University. Started off as great friends and started dating shortly after college. We fell in love instantly and started planning our lives for the future. Along the way, we were blessed with our baby girl ,Cree. Now as we prepare to unite the family, we are filled with joy and cannot wait to say “I Do” and look forward to a couple of forevers.”

Katelyn caught a glimpse of Lauren through a mutual friend five years ago and was absolutely smitten from the first glance. A couple dates and a little bit of a chase later, a year long chase to be exact, they’ve been together ever since.

“Saturday, May 11th 2019, was one of my best days ever! This day I graduated from SUNO and later celebrated with family and friends at my graduation party. David was being a little weird the entire night as if he was nervous. When I gave my speech thanking everyone that helped me get through this journey, I saved the best for last (him). After turning away to present him with a “thank you” gift, he got down on one knee and popped the question. I was shocked and stunned and it took me a minute to realize what was happening in front of me. After analyzing the ring for a good two minutes I replied “it’s about time.” I’m excited to embark on this journey as David’s wife!”

ALEXIS + BENJI’S STORY

“We met in 2016 while Benji was in New Orleans for the holidays. I was attending graduate school at UNO, and Benji was in medical school in Georgia. Three years later, we reconnected after Benji graduated medical school and matched for residency in New Orleans at LSU. He proposed on May 29, 2020 at Audubon Park’s “Tree of Life.” As I was admiring the tree, Benji got down on one knee and presented the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. I was so surprised and speechless, all I could do was nod my head to say, ‘YES!’”
