G.N. “Mickey “ Gallagher served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953-1958 as an active 9th Air Force Troop Carrier O-3, as well as in the Reserve from 1959-1964. He attended the University of Richmond studying Business Administration, and the University of Virginia to study Aeronautical Engineering. Captain Gallagher used his knowledge and experience to work on the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft from 1961-1995 and on the Small UAV Engines for Locust Power from 1996-2010. Later, he worked with Vale on SA Turbo Generation until 2012. Gallagher currently serves as an Honor Flight Veteran Coordinator for Honor Flights South Florida.
