OUR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY At Cummins, diversity is a business imperative as we look to enter new markets in an increasingly diverse and global marketplace. In 1969, our former CEO, J. I. Miller said, “We know no national boundaries. We know no racial boundaries. And a person can rise in this company from any part of the world on his own merits.” That philosophy has won us numerous awards, but more importantly, it has made Cummins a richly-diverse and global company — and a great place to work.
