Where do I begin? It was two years ago, that I embarked on a dream to start the first dedicated photography magazine of Nepal. I dreamed about opening a forum where fellow photographers could proudly showcase and boast about their works. After immense hard work, and dedication it makes me feel immensely proud to bring you the first edition of the NEPALPHOTOGRAPHY.org online magazine. This project was initiated in late 2006, and the first issue of this magazine would have arrived in your hands much earlier. However, fate decided it was not supposed to occur then. It was only after my return from Malaysia that I found invaluable friends who encouraged me to re-instantiate the dream I had put on hold for some time. Perhaps, it was in destiny for this magazine to launch at this wonderful time, when we have just stepped into a brand-new year. Let us all make this year a very special one. Let the year 2010 bring immense joy and love into your life. I wish you find better subjects to shoot, and better gears to buy – that will definitely help you push your photography even further. The year 2010 has also given me immense hope and encouragement, that I, along with my wonderful friends at NEPALPHOTOGRAPHY.org have decided to make the coming issues even bigger and better. Let me now urge you to turn the page over and plunge into a spellbinding journey through works of some extremely talented young photographer. This issue contains only the photographs, but I am extremely positive about bringing you more textual contents along with photographs from the next issue. So let me not keep you any further.
