Arc Essential Arc Essential Overview

Entry level rainwear that provides the worker with the essential needs to protect themselves from potential momentary electric arcs and open flames. Arc Essential is constructed with multiple features and is made in the U.S.A. The 9.5 oz/yd² FR Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) moisture barrier with a Nomex®/Kevlar® E89 fabric offers arc along with high visibility protection. Arc and Flame Resistance High Visibility Rating Resistant to most acids, salts and alkalies Fabric will not melt, drip, ignite or breakopen Waterproof with dielectrically welded seams

ARC EXTREME Arc Extreme Overview NSA's arc rated rainwear offers protection from the elements, potential arc hazards and open flames. The unique multi-layered trilaminate material offers arc protection and breathability. The Nomex® layers provide protection against momentary electrical arcs and open flames. The PTFE microporous moisture barrier is windproof, waterproof and breathable. The combined layers create an arc protective and breathable system that reduces worker heat stress. National Safety Apparel can shed some light on how layering appropriate FR clothing will boost protective ratings while providing maximum comfort. Our premium Arc H20 Rainwear layered over 7 oz. Indura Ultra Soft® performed with an Arc Rating (ATPV) of 40 cal/ cm². This combination is very effective and achieves level 4 compliance with the regulations laid out in NFPA 70E-2009 and meets OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269. Total Protection Kit!

The 4.5 oz. Nomex® layered over the 4 oz. FR Performance Wear performed with an Arc Rating Ebt of 9.8 cal/cm². This combination is very effective and achieves level 2 compliance with NFPA 70E.

The 7 oz. Indura Ultra Soft® layered over the 4 oz. FR Performance Wear performed with an Arc Rating ATPV of 15.2 cal/cm², achieving NESC 12 cal requirements.

The 6.25 oz. Pro C knit shirt layered over the 4 oz. FR Performance Wear performed with an Arc Rating Ebt of 17.4 cal/cm² and achieves NESC 12 cal requirements.

ARC H20 Arc H20 Overview

NSA’s Arc H20 Rainwear has been certified to ASTM F 1891 & ASTM F 2733, making it one of the most advanced rainwear systems in the safety apparel industry. Arc H20 is specifically designed for arc flash exposure and to minimize body burn percentage while exposed to extreme open flame hazards also known as flash fires. The premium 10 oz/yd² FR Polyurethane (PU) moisture barrier with an FR cotton weft knit fabric offers lightweight & stretchable comfort that combines a superior arc rating along with hi-vis protection. The FR PU material is durable, flexible and will not become brittle as it ages. NSA introduces new arc rated rainwear in a convenient kit. The easy to carry kit comes standard with a 30” jacket and bib overall all bundled up in our new MESH rainwear bag. The mesh bag allows the rainwear garments to drip dry, keeping them dry and odorless for your next use.
