Naval Support Activity Naples Detachment (NSAND) Gaeta Drinking Water Notice

DRINKING WATER NON-POTABILITY IN GAETA - FORMIA AND SURROUNDING AREAS NSAND Gaeta Fleet Landing - Drinking water is declared NONPOTABLE and not fit for consumption by the U.S. Naval Hospital (USNH) Preventive Medicine Authority (PMA). Effective 25 February 2013, the drinking water at NSAND Gaeta is declared nonpotable due to high turbidity levels. The PMA will conduct daily testing to verify the safety of the water being supplied and will publish information once the drinking water is declared potable and fit for consumption. Olde Mill Inn - Drinking water is declared NONPOTABLE and not fit for consumption by the USNH PMA. Effective 25 February 2013, the drinking water at Olde Mill Inn, Gaeta is declared nonpotable due to high turbidity levels. The PMA will conduct daily testing to verify the safety of the water being supplied and will publish information once the drinking water is declared potable and fit for consumption. NSAND Gaeta personnel working and living in the Gaeta-Formia area are advised to use bottled water for drinking, food preparation, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, and for pets.
