For the food start up business, they should know about it because there’re a lot competitors.

The color is not too clear but they Gave many color shade, depend on temperature


OBJECTIVE Experiment organic color with Shibori Technique .

Because the color is not too clear, I think it is not work for tie dye technique


OBJECTIVE Experiment nature color pigment .

I found the way to use color from nature. I want to know about durable and pigment. For the cabbage, it’s not too much pigment and can’t stick too long time.


OBJECTIVE Learning how to do mono print

MONO PRINTING


If have drawing skill, Mono printing is not difficult. It like copying by hand and take time around 1 hour for A4 size.


OBJECTIVE Learning how to do linoleum block printing

LINOLEUM BLOCK PRINTING


Linoleum block stamp making is take too long time. It’s depend on design and size. For this size, it’s 1.30 hour making. Moreover, it necessary to use many tools for difference lines. If someone haven’t done it before, it take more time.

FLOWER ARRANGEMENT


I start to find some vases that I like. Also, find flower from the shops near my house that suite my vases and talk with staff to know some trick to keep it long life. I want to learn more about each flower characters so, I ask Battersea flower station for volunteer. They have enough volunteers, I have to wait for their available.

FLOWER ARRANGEMENT WORK SHOP


They teach how to do center price flower. There’re several tips such as choosing oasis and how to use, process to produce include choosing flower and leaf. I got a lot of ideas to adapt it in my project.


OBJECTIVE Experiment food styling for practice creating good proportion with props, food and texture

FOOD STYLING


I always cook for myself so, I try to matching menu props and texture. First is breakfast that I usually have. There’re green color from salad pink from bacon, brawn from croissant and three orange dot from orange and Thai tea.


Another breakfast, I change plates and background. I think, something is missing. It’s some free from napkin to make it more soft.


Chinese dough is good with condensed milk All of that is warm and white color so, I use a pot of three for Add more cool color tone also, splashing milk texture make it look more tasty.


Vietnam noodle is should be look spicy and Asian so, I add some hot chilies. Moreover every noodles suite with an egg and something crispy on the top, I put fried fish sticks also add more lemon for tasty.


It’s Japanese style meal. It good to practice Japanese food because they’re creative food in term of shape process and package. For example, they add cooking rice into gypsum, it’s easy to eat and looking good. I match it with Matcha and some color from orange.

It’s hot drink mixing honey with sugar and lemon. I got this recipe from my grandmother. It’s good for your sore throat so, I made it look good health by using nature material and some flower

OUTTING STYLING CHALLENGE


I went to Italy, we bought local Parma ham and local Italian bread for our breakfast. I find another food for match with it. In addition, I have limitation in plate and props so, I think about local Italian concept. Therefore, choosing stone background with wood plates is suite with my concept.


Styling supermarket food without props to be restaurant food. When we travel with small budget. Our food is from supermarket. All of this food from Sainsbury’s and only have plain plates. I just mix the food and colors. In term of props, proportion on the table is important because We have normal food and props.


BIG CHALLENGE ALONG THE JOURNEY


OBJECTIVE Learning how to create beautiful food in the plate.

PLATING FOOD


I learn many technique from Chef step website. There’re drawing plate, garnish vegetable and choosing plate. I will use more plate texture to practice and everything can use for plate such as stone, wood, leaf or glass.


OBJECTIVE Practicing use a lot of color also Have a good taste.

PLAY WITH COLOR


There’re fruit set with honey that mix sour and sweet taste. The fruit it suite for practice about plating in many color also, the size, shape and proportion of fruit is interesting.
