Where life interacts with infrastructure.

Ellsworth Elementary School: Potable System Rehabilitation Location: Vancouver, Washington

Date of Completion: September 1992

Situation:

Solution:

The school’s galvanized potable pipes are located under slab and are more than 30 years old. They experienced heavy corrosion, which lead to low flow, red water and particles in the water. The customer did not want the classrooms to be interrupted by the work and wanted a cost-effective solution.

American Pipe Lining, a Nu Flow company, was chosen to do the work because of our pipe lining solution’s enormous cost savings compared to a re-pipe. Technicians worked at night so the classrooms would not be interrupted and existing access points were used so there was no destruction.
