Changes in the kitchen areas; – Eco-friendly – Mindful kitchen – Sustainable – Small space – Time-saving – Open the public – More Organized – More socializing - Stylish – Smart
Global warming; – Food will be expensive – Food waste should be reduced (~%40 in every home now !) – Saving energy is important Changing eating habits; – Carrying foods nearby – Frozen foods – Diets – Social media effects – Time-saving methods – Cooking blogs & websites – TV programs about healthy cooking
User Profiles During the user research phase, while conducting face to face interviews, I have also created an online survey to reach more people. Then gather all the information to analyze the common characteristics of my user grups. The highlighted charateristics of my target groups are; Lifestyle -Indoor & outdoor activities -Interested in decorative style -Willing to spend time and money for their hobbies -Trying to be self-sustained people -Using social media very often -Used to have smart devices -Interested in gardening
Amateur Chef Aged 25-40, living with a partner or not, consuming vegetables and fruits regularly.
Eating Habits -Cares about healthy cooking -Tendency to follow healthy cooking and eating trends -Trying to consume organic and fresh foods -Using time saving method when cooking Observations -Waste a lot of energy when; *making shopping list, *thinking about what food to cook, *looking for food while cooking, *placing foods after shopping -Surplus food waste -Smell of food from intermingling -Buy extra food.
Modern Gardeners Aged 35-60, living with a partner, growing and consuming vegetables and fruits regularly, have a crowded family.
Research About Storage of Fruit and Vegetables The vegetables must be removed from the bag.
Do not store fruits and vegetables together: Fruits that give off high levels of ethylene can prematurely ripen and spoil surrounding vegetables.
According to an investigation, every familyliving in America is throwing about 213 kg of food in a year.
In the future, food will be expensive and the natural resources will decrease, so keeping food fresh and long so important.
“One bad apple can spoil the bunch.”

Research & Problem Identification OUTCOMES Because of the dizziness after flight people don’t pay attention to Apron bus travel period.
Although there are many doors, to lead people into a single line just one door is opening.
Ventilation system is necessary for hot temperatured countries and crowd.
Seats are generally for old, pregnant people and people with children.
When passengers get on the bus early, they prefer to sit.
People put their luggages to certain places if they stand or sit nearby.
Passengers are inclined to follow the crowd. There aren’t any informative labels take passengers’ attention in the bus. Generally there isn’t any confusion for passenger about which bus to use as there isn’t many options. If necessary personnels guide passengers where to go, which bus to use.
To understand when the bus will take off, passengers control the driver.
Balance problems occur on standing position especially when passengers have lots of luggage and the bus brakes suddenly.
Inspiration
Ideation Making most of the potential airport view Leading people towards the edges for increased comfort Benefiting from the freedom of autonomous technology with the panaromic view on each ends
Grouping people for controlling the flow of passengers
Seating unit with a hand rail. Allows putting luggage underneath.
Continious look on exterior styling/ Top View
Wheel height used for leaning
Final Concept
Creating a stress-free environment inside the bus.
AIRPRON
Marriage of exterior and interior of the Airpron.
Large glasses increase the outside visibility so passengers feel more spacious.
Airpron has continuity from ceiling to the sides. Directing passengers towards edges for increased comfort.
Benefiting autonomous technology with panoramic view on each ends. Emphasizing the pattern with the use of lights.
Usage Scenario
Asymmetrical doors help distribute the crowd evenly toward each end of the bus and prevent blockage in the flow.
Guiding lights on the exterior inform passengers about which direction the bus will move so they can position themselves accordingly.
In Airpron, passengers have a wide, airy sense and feel less stressed.
People go to the ends to have a panoramic view.
Seating is faced towards the windows so that passengers can feel more relaxed.
Colors on the leaning units encourage leaning.
Antalya Airport 7 dakika
Hand rails are placed diagonally so passengers are placed more efficiently.
Back side of seating provides an area for other passengers to hold onto and keep their luggage.
Passengers can obtain necessary feedback from the info panels. It is also used to reduce stress during emergencies.
When bus arrives to its destination, passengers know which door will open from the lights.

Concept 4 Geometric form Different colors Enjoyful design
Final Concept & Scenario PROYA, with its playful form and colorful surfaces aims to attract children to use the washroom. Since it’s form resembles a children’s game, the height difference prevents students to think that they are too short or too tall. The sink and the soap dispenser has sensors to reduce the usage of resources.

The children pick the washbasin that’s most comfortable to them. Then they get soap from sensored dispenser and after washing their hands they get paper towel from a fold towel dispenser.
The children go to the washroom with their toothbrushing kits, and hang them while brushing their teeth.
The kits have different color options for children to pick their favourite.
Details & Mockup
Soap dispenser have connections that serve as hangers for kits.
They sit on a rubber seal that surround each hole, which prevents slips, leaks and dirt.
Standard washbasins fit through holes on the counter that creates different levels.
The plumming is accesible through beneath the sink, and it is easy to change and repair in a breakdown.
