Earth-Harmony Living : Middle-class Apartment in Manggarai TOD Area, South Jakarta Area : 1.078 ha
At present, the people of Jakarta need housing in strategic locations but at affordable prices. Apartments are a solution to the problem of affordability because vertical housing can accommodate many people with little land. But more than that, the people of Jakarta need well-designed dwellings to improve their quality of life. The target users of this apartment are Jakarta’s middle class people who have the need to live, move, and work in downtown Jakarta. The project location is within the scope of the Manggarai transit-oriented area development plan. This must be responded to well by the draft made. High economic potential can be responded to by adding some commercial functions. In addition, elements of transit-oriented areas such as the priority of pedestrians and bicycles must also be accommodated. Therefore, it can be concluded that the aim of this project is to provide comfortable, healthy and sustainable housing while remaining affordable and responding well to the location context.

Innovation Hub in Bandung
Nurul Azizah Hatami - 2019 PORTFOLIO
Area : 0.3 ha
This project is a commercial building owned by a private investor. The location is a slanted terrain south of Bandung in a residential area. The atmosphere is aimed to be cozy, so that the space can be comfortable for visitors. Also, the design is aimed to create this building as a “third place. Because it is owned by a private investor, it is also important to think about the investor benefit by maximizing saleable area.
Nurul Azizah Hatami - 2019 PORTFOLIO
Building mass concept is circular with maximum building width of 12 meters. Equipped with single-loaded corridor of 2 meters facing inner court. The decision of creating inward-oriented building is because there are no interesting views of surrounding area.

5th Semester Project
Government Office in Bandung
Nurul Azizah Hatami - 2019 PORTFOLIO
Area : 0.11 ha
This project is a goverment office building located in Purnawarman Street, Bandung. Main design issue is how to accomodate an office that is dynamic and prone to changes everytime the government is being shuffled. To answer that issue, the design has to be flexible to change of function. Universal design is being adapted through same height on the ground level and ramp placement in appropriate areas. Green design is being adapted through natural lighting, natural ventilation, and pedestrian oriented by placing the entrance near the street and forcing vehicles to park at the back of the building. Sleek design is being incorporated to further enhance the formality of a government office with parallel lines and simple, strong building mass.
