4 OUR COURSES
If you have just completed your Practitioner Diploma and opened your first Practice, then our Advanced year provides ongoing clinical support for you during these early days as you start to build your therapeutic base. A regular monthly connection with college serves as a touchstone where you can check in with tutors and peers to talk through any complex or challenging cases that may arise. Our tutors draw on direct examples from their own practice to ensure depth and breadth in your learning, all backed up with their own unique brand of passion and inspiration.
If you have not yet studied with NHF but love the look of this course then reach out for an exploratory chat about the possibilities for jumping on board. Our Advanced training can be a dynamic addition to your existing Practitioner qualification whether you are desperate for some more clinical experience or you totally love the idea of bringing a Naturopathic angle into your business model. It can also be helpful if you want to achieve those critical CPD hours or join a specific accrediting body.

CLINICAL PRACTICE DIPLOMA COURSE This course will offer students the chance to undertake clinical sessions with real patients under the supervision of their tutors. This is a practical and intensive programme of study, during which you will receive detailed feedback on your clinical performance, as well as tailored support and guidance to help you to become an outstanding Nutritional Practitioner. The Clinical Practice Diploma is, without doubt, a critical bridge into practice and one which any individual who is serious about working at the very highest professional level in the Nutrition Industry should NOT miss out on. 6 ď‚˝ OUR COURSES
CLINICAL PRACTICE DIPLOMA COURSE
COURSE OVERVIEW This course will offer students the chance to undertake clinical sessions with real patients under the watchful eye of our supervisors. This is a practical and intensive programme of study during which you will be observed on a one-to-one basis and receive detailed feedback on your clinical performance as well as tailored support and guidance to help you to become a truly outstanding Nutritional Practitioner. After successfully completing the Advanced year this is akin to the final polishing of your bells and whistles and the smoothing of the last of your rough edges to achieve a final gleam. Even after 2 years of study, each of the six clinical days
will challenge all aspects of learning from technical ability through to communication, stretching those comfort zones even further. Despite the intensity, students find these days exhilarating and recognise that they are a vital part of perfecting their therapeutic skills before they make the final leap from the safety of the learning environment to the reality of the workplace.

The fruits of your labour will be meticulously written up into
a professional portfolio which is submitted for marking and will remain with you, as a permanent record of your supervised practice, for future accreditation or CPD purposes. The art of compiling this is a wonderful achievement and a valuable management skill to acquire for use in your ongoing professional life.
The observation element of this training is absolutely essential to the success of this course, but the growing and necessary improvements in visual technology mean that we no longer need to be in the same room to make this possible. This means you can now undertake our Clinical Practice training from anywhere on the planet, subject to meeting our stringent criteria for supervision. The world, and the nature of the therapeutic relationship and training is changing right before our eyes and we are excited to be expanding our horizons right along with it. So, if you just love to tick every box, can’t get enough of Nutritional Healing or need a little more experience in a

Throughout the year our Advanced level students run a range of clinics across the country. These provide an essential ‘bridge’ into private practice as they receive supervision, feedback and support on their journey to becoming confident and competent practitioners. As a student, potential student or a member of the public you are welcome to attend as a patient for a totally free consultation. It’s a great way to access some free advice or to check out the college before you commit to studying with us.
During 2021 we will be launching our highly anticipated Membership forum. This will be an exclusive, private space, online, where you can access unique Nutritional content not available elsewhere. You will be able to watch regular live and recorded video lectures from our tutors, hear guest speakers talking about their specialist topics such as CBD Oil or Eating Psychology or undertake a range of mini courses to keep expanding those horizons – it’s going to be amazing!
We run a varied range of workshops, seminars, talks and discussion groups throughout the academic year which are open, in limited numbers, to the General Public. If you fancy learning a little more about Raw Food preparation, are interested to understand the good, the bad and the ugly about Vaccinations or you are a complete nutritional novice and want an introductory course to teach you the basics then you are in the right place! Courses may take place in person, be held live online or even available as a download so you can listen at a time that is convenient to you.
