Connect to lighting system with Philips MC control app
Purpose
Philips MC control app allows control of a group of lights by an end user.
How to do?
• The QR code of the lighting must have been provided by the installer in advance, using the “QR-code generation” functionality in the Philips MasterConnect app – see installer manual. • Open the Philips MC control app and scan the QR code of the group you want to control. • Set a name for future use of the group and the Philips MC control app is ready to control the lights. • Alternatively, open one of the groups that have been generated earlier. The device will connect to the lights.
Remarks
• Multiple QR codes of different groups can be scanned and stored. • End-user should allow access to “Camera” and enable “Location services” on the smartphone. • To actively control the lights, the smartphone or tablet which has the Philips MC control app, must be in range.
