When I laugh I feel like vomiting WTF is going on? Yesterday I was laughing and every time I did I would feel like I would have to throw up.. Idk what is going on but it's never happened to me before can somebody seriously tell me what's going on?
admin answers: It is very similar to cough associated vomiting. The complications of coughing can be classified as either acute or chronic. Acute complications include cough syncope (fainting spells due to decreased blood flow to the brain when coughs are prolonged and forceful), insomnia, cough-induced vomiting, rupture of blebs causing spontaneous pneumothorax (although this still remains to be proven), subconjunctival hemorrhage or "red eye," coughing defecation and in women with a prolapsed uterus, cough urination. Chronic complications are common and include abdominal or pelvic hernias, fatigue fractures of lower ribs and costochondritis. Hope this helps and stop laughing.

Which foods should I eat to reduce bloating, and which shoud I avoid? Thanks!
admin answers: Possible causes of bloating include: The most common causes of chronic stomach bloating are irregular digestive processes which produce gases at a much higher rate than normal. Pre-menstrual Tension (PMT) - The symptoms tend to disappear or greatly improve once the bleeding actually starts. Contraceptive pill Too much alcohol Salt, or processed foods in your diet - even a small amount of excess sodium causes bloating. Too little protein in diet. Doctors believe that bloating is usually the result of an intestinal disorder, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The cause of IBS is unknown, but may involve abnormal movements and contractions of intestinal muscles and increased pain sensitivity in the intestine. These disorders may give a sensation of bloating because of increased sensitivity to gas. Carbonated Drinks- Fizzy drinks, including soda pop and spritzers, increase bloating because the carbon dioxide trapped in the bubbles creates gas, which slows down stomach emptying. Water intake: Many women believe that drinking too much water will give them puffy abs, but just the opposite is true. Even though we associate water with being bloated, drinking more water can help to flush sodium out of the body, and that reduces the bloat. Lactose Intolerance- sometimes your stomach is unable to digest the lactose--or milk sugar--in dairy foods leading to bloating. Food allergies can cause your stomach to puff out, too. But this is a reaction of the immune system involving the whole body, and usually hives and runny nose are the more prominent symptoms. Any disease that causes intestinal inflammation or obstruction, such as Crohn's disease or colon cancer, may also cause abdominal bloating. In addition, people who have had many operations, adhesions (scar

tissue), or internal hernias may experience bloating or pain. Finally, eating a lot of fatty food can delay stomach emptying and cause bloating and discomfort.

My husband has a testical that is larger then the other.? Its not all the time, but when it does its about 3 times its size!Im so worried. He's going to the doctor, but if there is anyone out there with some info please help.We have 4 wonderful kids that need their daddy.
admin answers: Most men's testicles are not the exact same size and are not at an equal level just as not all women's breasts are 100% symmetrical. The testicles sit inside the scrotum. They are very sensitive. Even a minor injury can cause pain or discomfort to the testicles. Sudden, severe testicle pain, however, requires immediate medical care. If your husband is currently having abdominal pain then he should see a doctor. * inflammation of one or both testicles, which may be caused by bacteria or a virus like mumps. Orchitis can occur at the same time as epididymitis or prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate gland). Fluid in the testicles often causes painless swelling, but may cause mild discomfort. There are several main types of fluid collection: * Varicocele -- enlarged veins in the scrotum that carry blood away from the testicles. * Spermatocele -- fluid in the epididymis that forms a cyst and often contains dead sperm cells Lastly, pain may in the testicles may also be caused by a hernia.

I've got a stabbing pain underneath my belly button what could it be? i've been sick once and if i walk it gets worse what could it be? it's been here for 2 days and painkillers won't stop it. My mum thinks it could be a grumbling appendix but wouldn't that be on the right side?
admin answers: I am an RN and when I see patients coming into the ER with stabbing pain underneath there belly button, it could be one of two things. You could have a hernia, that is where there is a hole pooching its way through the abdominal wall, or you could have what's call "Ovarian Cysts". This occurs a lot in young to middle-aged women. Either it be an abdominal hernia, or an ovarian cysts, you need to get it checked out by your OB/GYN or your primary care Dr. They can run some diagnostic tests that will tell off the bat what it is. I hope you start to feeling better soon....Dwayne, RN
