Can Mesh used in an operation to repair a hernia melt if you stand too close to a fire? My Friend recently had surgery to repair a two hernias in his lower abdomen. Since they used a plastic mesh in the operation, we were joking about how he can't stand too close to a fire now or they'll melt inside him. Is this actually possible?
admin answers: Only if your friend was planning on cooking themselves(the flesh) not med rare but fully cooked through. I think that pain alone would not allow them to stand too close to a fire to long..

Is it normal for Doctors to touch balls when someone has stomach pain?
1/4
When I was in Brazil, I went to see a doctor because I had a stomach pain after eating food at a restaurant. After he examined my stomach he told me to pull down my pants and he started touching my balls. This isn't a joke by the way and it happened to me when I was 15 y/o and I was with my dad as well. Is this what Doctors do in Brazil when someone has a stomach pain?
admin answers: It sounds like he was checking to see if you possible had a hernia. Stomach pain can be caused by that. It is normal

How do I keep a really hard promise? Okay so at my 13 birthday I made a "covenant" to God saying that I won't watch p*rno until I'm 18 but it's really hard I keep getting tempted and I already broke the promise after 1 year and because of that I got Hernia, Asthma, and from 3rd in class I became the 12th. Now I'm trying again but its just hard. HELP! Someone, I need some tips
admin answers: You can't it's already been broken. On the up side of things, it's more or less a promise made to yourself, that you will abstain from said activity. Here's where your problem arises, you, yourself have stated that you are trying (not to watch it), stop trying, just don't do it. It is that simple.

If you feel the urge to do so, go jogging or something, do something else that will distract you until the urge passes...I don't know what to tell you man, evidently we hold a different set of beliefs, but I also didn't get carried away to the degree that it affected my school work or my health LOL (That takes dedication!) Sorry, I shouldn't make jokes, but seriously, in all honesty, if you put that much of yourself into it, maybe just start with cutting back first, ween your way off....I'm laughing as I type this. You are a growing boy, and believe it or not (Minus the side effects it seems to have with you) this is normal, for both boys and girls, it's just not usually a topic of conversation at your age as it's still a taboo subject (that'll go away). Anyway, best of luck to you with this

Can you pull muscles in your rectom by straining to go to the bathroom? What does it feel like? thanks? this is not a joke question.. i am really serious. I have been constipated for the past few days, and since last night have been having some pain near the tailbone but not on it. It's between the tailbone and rectom. It doesn't hurt constantly, just when I sit or shift in a certain position. I am wondering if I pulled a muscle or something straining.. or if that's even possible. thanks.
admin answers: Yes. You may have pulled a muscle. You may also have developed a hernia, which is quite common and can definitely be caused by straining to use the restroom. If it doesn't begin to feel better in ten days or so, you might want to visit your doctor. If the pain intensifies, you may need to go right away. Hope you get feeling better!
