A child’s early years lay the foundation for all that is to come. Research has found that the human brain develops the vast majority of its neurons, and is at its most receptive to learning, between birth and three years of age. Contact us to find out more about how we can serve you and your child.
What is Early Intervention? Early intervention services promote a child’s ageappropriate growth and development from birth to 3 years of age. Early intervention supports families during these critical years of their child’s life. Every dollar spent in early stages saves seven dollars in terms of future education and services. Developmental delays, learning disorders, and behavioral and socialemotional problems are estimated to affect 1 in every 6 children. Only 20% to 30% of these children are identified as needing help before school begins.
