It’s the month of St. Patrick’s Day but also the month we had our 20182019 key club elections! My term is sadly coming to end but I couldn’t be more excited for everyone that was elected. I have never seen a group of people more excited or ready to serve such an amazing club. Them along with the many other students at Northwest showed their support and love for the Children’s Miracle Network earlier this month. Overall, we raised over $3,000 for the Saint Rose Dominican Hospital! Through hard work and dancing a positive impact can always be achieved. This month we have also helped out the Fight 4 Fitness by volunteer at their children’s game area for the fight to encourage a healthy lifestyle. As my last President’s report, I would like to thank all the hardworking and dedicated Key Clubbers that remind me of how much I love and will miss Key Club. Some of my best moments have been thanks to this amazing club and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Love, Kayla

As this will be my last newsletter, my last message as a bulletin editor is for everyone, being able to document all the memories shared by members throughout the whole term was such a great experience, but unfortunately coming to an end. I’m fascinated by how as a club we were able to grow, along with all the work done by everyone with how much dedication and hard work came upon everyone and how I was able to learn as a board member for the club I love. I am excited for the new term with those who were elected and what they will be able to bring to another chapter within Northwest CTA Key Club!

What’s poppin hawks! My name is Leah Mazzola and I’m so glad to be your new 20182019 key club president. I have so many goals to increase charity involvement, connections between members, and so much more. I strive to have an extremely successful year and can’t wait to work beside all my board and members. I hope you’re all as excited as I am for all the possibilities of this next year. Cheers to an amazing term!

Hey Key Clubbers! Thank you for nominating me to be your 2018-2019 Vice President! I’m very excited to be working alongside my fellow board members to run this amazing club. I hope to live up to your expectations and make this upcoming term the best one yet.

I am very excited to begin this new term as Vice President of Service! I have so many ideas and potential service events that will integrate a more altruistic and involved nature into Northwest Key Club. This year will be one for the books!

Hey everyone! I’m honored and grateful to serve as your new secretary for the 2018-2019 service year! As secretary, I manage all the paperwork and communicate with other people outside of Key Club. During my service year, I would like to be efficient and organized in completing my responsibilities, while also, being able to get to know all of the members in our club. I’m hoping to help build the best communication bridge between our members and executives. Therefore, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me! I am looking forward to having a fun and exciting year with you guys!

Hi, my name is Ariane Alcala and I am very excited to be your next treasurer for the 2018-2019 term!! I’m also looking forward to seeing what our new board has in store to make this upcoming year the best it can be. I’m not sure how this new term will go but I hope that as your newly elected treasurer, I will help Key Club raise money for donations to many different charities along with fundraising for our home club. I love Key Club and I can’t wait for all the new possibilities for us as a club next year.

My name is Natalie Valenzuela and next year i'll be your key club bulletin editor for the 2018-2019 school year. As bulletin editor it is my duty to run the social media page, send out a monthly newsletter as well as keep up the key club bulletin board. Key club is a family I’m thankful to be a part of, i hope all members can make next year!

As the new Key Club Senior Rep elect, I am excited to see what the new year will bring. I’m excited for this new term, as everyone who is on the board is very passionate about Key Club. So all in all, I can't wait for next year and I think it’ll be another great year for Northwest Key Club!

I’m honestly excited to be in this position! I wasn’t sure before if Junior Rep is something I should run for, but then I realized this is something I want to do. I ran for this because I love my key club family more than anything! And with that in mind I’m hopeful for this upcoming term. There are a lot of familiar faces that I have faith in as well as a few new faces that I can’t wait to see what they accomplish!

As the new sophomore representative I am looking forward to working with my amazing new board and all the amazing members that keep this club running. In this new term, I hope we will all be able to communicate well with each other and have fun while getting our work done to make the club run smoothly. I hope I can work well with the board to bring all the members of Key Club closer together and to serve our community as a family. I have high hopes for the 2018-2019 term and can’t wait to help everyone out in this wonderful club.

Hey guys, I’m Aneka Castillo and I can’t wait to serve as you SAA this upcoming term. To me, there is no greater happiness than being able to spend my time and energy on the Key Club family I’ve grown to know and love. Having served as SAA last term, I am forever grateful to be presented with this amazing opportunity yet again. Truth be told, I have no doubt that we can move mountains. Not just at RTC, but always and all places. With our dedicated members, I already see so much potential in this upcoming term. My excitement exceeds me. I believe in you guys, always.

Jayden Curameng My third and final dance marathon was a success! Uniting schools and dancing for miracles, we’ve managed to raise a total of $32,025 for Children’s Miracle Network. Thank You to everyone who attended and supported the event, especially my amazing school that managed to bring 200+ attendees! It was an honor serving on the Youth making Change board for two years as the Dance Marathon Media Coordinator. I hope this event continues to grow and I can’t wait to see what it will become in future years.

: MARATHON Sheila Bibera As secretary for Dance Marathon for the past two years, I not only took rosters, took meeting notes, but assisted others with any tasks they had making sure everyone was able to go in, and helping our chairs make this event run smoothly along with the rest of committee. Seeing the 1200+ people come from all around the valley, 218 coming from our school, I was nothing but proud. It's been a great three years of attending Dance Marathon, and from all three I have gone to, LVDM18 has been my greatest one yet. Hearing from many friends, and seeing all the posts about LVDM18 made my heart melt a little, future LVDM's will be amazing, and I can't wait to see what it holds. Working alongside with three others on YMC Board from Northwest CTA (Jayden, Josh, and Alyssa) for the past two years, was amazing even though we all had different things going on throughout the whole event. An event like Dance Marathon should always be remembered as a charity event for the kids, not just another social event; we should all remember that we're uniting to help Children's Miracle Network. Of any event, I truly will hold Dance Marathon close to my heart - For the Kids.

Josh Guloy If you want to be apart of something great, the Dance Marathon Committee is a great place to be. Throughout my experience, the chair and other committee members of the event thoroughly communicated with one another, leading to an event that was well planned with little disorganization. From the start, Dance Marathon never stops to amaze me. Being on the committee that helped plan this event and wartching everything unfold as planned feels super rewardgin! I hope that more people attend Dance Marathon every year as we are continuing to grow as a family and we even are continuing to grow as a family and we even are continuing to outgrow the venue! I hope to see everyone attend next year!
