Towering Ambition Project Director Attractive Package Lowther Estate Office, Penrith Lowther Castle and Gardens Project aims to safeguard the Grade II listed monument and bring lasting benefits to the region, its economy, and its people. The Lowther Castle and Gardens Trust’s mission is to restore the castle ruins, build an amphitheatre, transform 131 acres of gardens, and develop valuable cultural, creative and educational facilities.
A natural leader with exceptional influencing skills, you will manage the development of the project to practical completion. Through careful joint work with a wide range of partners, you will deliver a visitor destination of international standing. Articulate, credible, and confident at the highest level, you will bring a proven track record of project management in the tourism or cultural sector together with a flair for marketing, event management, and stakeholder liaison. An understanding of the work of a rural estate would also be desirable.
