30 Days Update (April 2010) Northwest Development Agency has appointed a Project Manager (Stuart D’Henin) to manage the reletting programme of the Regeneration and Development Panels. The Agency have mobilised the internal working group and convened a kick off meeting to discuss existing expenditure and usage of existing Panel plus lessons learnt to capture the Agencies future needs. Agency has been proactively seeking interested across public sector organisations who may be interested in taking part in the tender selection and award process. The Agency are impressed with the level of interest received from a number of Authorities accepting the importance of Regional collaboration. Agency has issued a flyer explaining the reletting programme and has requested expressions of interest be returned by 15th May 2010. The Agency has already met a number of organisations and registered their interest. The Agency attended the NWIEP Local Government Professional Services Procurement Workshop organised by OGC. This was a very useful networking opportunity from organisations across the region. The Agency are working in close alliance with the North West Construction Hub to ensure the Consultancy providers and Construction Company’s compliment each other providing a “Seamless” supply chain to the benefit of the end user.
Next 30 Day Plan (May 2010) Issue PIN Notice explaining the Agency Intensions to relet the Panel to the open market Identify Stakeholders and allocate working groups specific to each individual lots. Prepare external stakeholder terms of reference guidance note explaining roles and responsibilities commitment required for the duration of the Tender exercise
Arrange working group meeting to discuss scope and prequalification criteria Agency to prepare draft Scope documents, listing initial requirements for review by external stakeholders Review and agree method of managing the Prequalification Questionnaire, investigate the option of using Constructionline
Continue to collaborate with the NW Construction Hub and additional external Organisations
