Summary • The NW are already benefiting from London 2012 • There are significant linkages between programmes • London 2012 are increasingly aligning Games related opportunities to existing London 2012 programmes, i.e. Inspire and Get Set • Importance of starting to plan for the Games time period (Apr-Sept 2012) • The Torch Relay presents a significant opportunity in terms of both global marketing and community engagement • In uncertain times, there is one certainty…the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games takes place on the 27th July 2012
