Visit the region's biggest interactive careers event
Why visit Skills North West? It’s the biggest careers and skills event for young people in the region, taking place at the Bolton Arena on Tuesday 3 February, Wednesday 4 February and Thursday 5 February.
What can I do there? You can try hands-on activities that bring the world of work and training to life meeting over 70 interactive organisations including the Army, BAE Systems, BBC, Connexions, Financial Services Skills Council, Greater Manchester Police, HM Prison Service, Institute of Legal Executives, Jaguar Land Rover, NHS Academy, North West Aerospace Alliance, North West Training Provider Network, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Royal Mail, The College of Law, The Institute of the Motor Industry and lots more. What makes it different from other events? You get to find out about careers, training and skills in a fun and interesting way. If you want to work with animals you can hold a snake and if you want to invest in your future you can bank on a career in financial services. There will be competitions, stage performances and much more.
Who else can attend? It’s not easy making choices about what you want to do, so bring along your family and friends to help you, and they can try the hands-on demonstrations too. Parents/carers and families are welcome to attend at anytime during the three days. How do I get there? To find out more visit www.skillsnw.co.uk and click through to Getting there.
