Summary of Northwest Legacy Ambitions Our vision – England’s Northwest will contribute to the finest Olympic Games and Paralympic Games the world has ever seen, using the Games as a catalyst to achieve the maximum economic, sporting, health and social benefits, and provide our people with opportunities to engage with the pride, passion and spirit of London 2012. ‘Bringing the Games to Life’, the Northwest Legacy Framework for London 2012 - 2010 Update provides a detailed overview of legacy activity in the region since the 3 year countdown to the start of the Games. This summary of Northwest Legacy Ambitions should be read in conjunction with that document and highlights how these national, regional and sub-regional programmes contribute to achieving the region’s legacy ambitions under each of the respective legacy themes.
