Bob Estes Receives Statewide Award

The Association of Educational Service Districts (AESD) Executive Board awards the annual Award of Distinction to individuals and organizations who embody the award’s vision and criteria. This year, Bob Estes, the AESD Accreditation Statewide Coordinator, was honored with the award. Bob’s crucial contributions to the AESD Accreditation Program have played a significant role in its success, establishing it as the largest provider of accreditation services in Washington State. Bob exemplifies the AESD’s values, especially in fostering relationships. His leadership as the statewide AESD Accreditation lead has demonstrated the values of Equity, Integrity, Accountability, Synergy, Leadership, and Relationships. Thanks to Bob’s guidance, each school has received personalized and high-quality coaching that is responsive to their needs.

Educational Service Districts have served Washington State for over fifty years, providing vital services and functioning as advocates for local districts. Northwest Educational Service District 189 (NWESD) serves Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, Island, and San Juan counties.

NWESD’s more than fifty programs are organized into seven departments to serve you: Administration, Early Learning, Fiscal Services, Prevention Center, Special Programs and Services, Teaching and Learning, NWRDC, and Technology Services.
