CHECK IN Remind students to work on their High School and Beyond Plans – when they input accurate information, you can use it to help them find activities and resources that support their goals. If they have questions, let them know you are available to help. ENCOURAGE Share more information with students about postsecondary options and planning. Great resources are available through College Knowledge (wcan.org/college-knowledge/) and Ready Set Grad (readysetgrad.wa.gov) to engage with their classes and ask for help when needed.

Cover Art This edition’s cover art was submitted to the NWESD High School Art Show by Katie Leigh Place of Friday Harbor High School. It is titled “Helping Hand.” Katie wrote that the piece is part of a series that revolves around the idea of human connection with nature. I like that the work shows a positive side of our relationship with nature.
