NASHA OWNER Barron Lutz crafts phenomenal hash in his lab in Arcata, where he’s been known for years for his modern takes on traditional styles such as powder ice water hash and heated, pressed temple balls. It was a treat to get his take on a contemporary-style offering, with a freshly-pressed batch of rosin from flower cultivated by Clearwater Farms. It might be psychosomatic, but there was more than a hint of strawberry creme wafer in the flavor profile on this ball of goodness.

A two-second cold start to open up the aromatics of the rosin reveals layer after layer of sweet and creamy dough-forward terps, backed by a touch of rotting fruit funk.
